After the excellent performance of the WBA game, I had visions of us being in the top 2 by Feb. Now after the depressing, soulless derby display & lack of flair v Brum I give up even trying to fathom what will happen either way. I recon it will mostly depend on Balotelli though.

We have the ability to get 18 points from 18. Don't think we will be we have a chance. The rest simply don't have a chance.

Why do we need Bellemy have you actually seen him play recently and at the back end of last season. Some of you just need to let go and move on.

IF this IF that.... If we win our next 20 matches we have a chance of winning the league. If someone would finally beat the scum....If Chelsea are on the way down......

It really is about time we made a positive statement over a run of games which will confirm we are real contenders.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves by asking 18 points from our next 6, especially looking at our form. Those 2 away games coming up are hit and miss and although 6 points would be very nice, they are not assured. Our last 6 games prove that:

Blackpool 2 - 3 Man City (3)
Man City 0 - 3 Arsenal (0)
Wolverhampton 2 - 1 Man City (0)
West Brom 0 - 2 Man City (3)
Man City 0 - 0 Man Utd (1)
Man City 0 - 0 Birmingham (1)

The next 6 are similar sort of games that will cause us problems, and with Everton always being a difficult game, and Newcastle wanting revenge on a number of issues, I'd be more than happy with around 12 points - 3 wins, 3 draws or 4 wins. 6 wins would be nice though.

Fulham (A) (3)
Stoke (A) (1)
Bolton (H) (3)
West Ham (A) (3)
Everton (H) (1)
Newcastle (A) (1)

One game at a time pal, because if I'd envisaged our last 6 as they were, I'd have stayed on the concourse drinking ;-)

Fulham (A) 3 pts.
Stoke (A) 1 pt
Bolton (H) 3 pts.
West Ham (A) 3 pts.
Everton (H) 1 pt.
Newcastle (A) 1 pt.

This would leave us with 12 points out of 18, which I think realistic given our usual trouble in beating Stoke away and Everton anywhere, also Newcastle away could prove tougher than one would like to think. Ideally, I think our squad should be able to get all 18 points, tbh, but let's try and be more pessim...I mean realistic. ;)

To get the full post at Stoke will be quite an acheivent, given the recent tradition.
While sit on the fence I've already said i wont be prepared - right now - to bet on the manager holding the dressing room with comfort. This - Stoke (A) is about the game that will tell something about.

Though, I see where You are coming from Mate, and I am right behind Your attitude.

I'd be happy with that too. Although, I would rather us beat Everton than any of the other teams on that list.

The worry for me is that all those teams, bar Fulham, are in decent form art the moment, or at least certainly improving.

So now you're starting whole new threads just so everyone can see your snide digs about Bellamy and those who would still have him at the club? Honestly, you're fast becoming the most tedious poster on the board.
