I'm with you there Blue.
I think City are Targeting 2nd place or above. We're just not making a song and dance about it . So the Media can't F*ck us over.

I agree and I think the next 4 games are when we need to 'Make Hay', as they say. Let's get this 'Money' tag off our backs and go out and stuff Hughes' team down the media's throat.

Ted Hughes wrote:I don't really care what they tell the media but City certainly haven't been playing like a side who's targeting top 2. Which of the sides doing that would play for a draw at home v rags? This shows what utter bullshit the people who are comfortable with the last 2 results are talking.
Spurs have now been Away to Utd & Arsenal & have 2 more points than we got in the home games. They've also been to Stoke & won. They have 3 forwards & two midfielders who score goals, so can win any game even when they're struggling. This is a big week for us & if we fuck it up, we'll be relying on one of the other sides to have a poor 2nd half of the season. Otherwise, because of the way the fixtures pan out, we may find ouselves having to win at 2 or 3 of the games at OT, Anfield, Stamford Bridge, The Emirates & Goodison in the latter stages.
No more bullshit, play to win & I mean to fucking win EVERY GAME.

I was worried that I was alone!!
I night have preferred a draw - but if not I prefer a Spurs win. We are yet to click or go on any kind of a run and we are still right up there. Come the second half of the season when injuries and tiredness kicks in I hope our squad strength will really kick in.
I still hope for a good shot at the title or a top 2 finish - top 3 at worse - unless there really is some fundamental motivation issues in our squad I think that we will succees - if we have big rifts between manager with players or players with players then we are not getting top 4 anyhow

A good win for Fulltime there!!
As for the Mancini comment about chelsea winning the league, it is all mind games, that was said in the week leading upto the chelsea game. Lets see if Redknapp will achieve anything by sending his team out to either win 5-0 or lose 5-0. Allthough they are good to watch on the odd day.
