Anyway, a .3 points per game improvement isn't really something that gets the pulse racing. Especially when the football we are playing is so bloody boring!

Well, it works out at 12 points a season. We've not got them yet though.

Hughes
Goals for / game 1.65
Goals against / game 1.4
Win ratio 0.4
Loss ratio 0.36
Draw ratio 0.24

Millions spent for each point 2.86

Mancini
Goals for / game 1.62
Goals against / game 0.82
Win ratio 0.5
Loss ratio 0.23
Draw ratio 0.26

Millions spent for each point 1.06

Mancini has had a poor start to the season, I calculated his pts/game ratio for last season and it was 1.9

Yes, you're right. I apologize for using the phrase "i've been here ten minutes". I didn't realize that it would be taken literally.

I withdraw my apologies, my first impressions were accurate: graceless, humourless and witless - a deadly combination.

I can just about stand the way we are playing, I tell myself it's a necessary stage to something a lot better but if we lose I reckon Roberto might walk, that would be a disaster.

Manager's don't really 'walk' anymore, but Roberto is an emotional guy so you never know. A loss tomorrow would be a psychological disaster.

I think his problem isn't so much results right now, it's the way so many players are carrying the body language of men who aren't enjoying their work.

Strachan sort of walked recently & also Coppell (he's quite experienced at it) - it's Mancio's body language that bothers me most though. The illness of his father together with the apparent difficulty of some his key signings to play like they mean it, may be raising doubts in his mind about his decision to come to England I think.

I thought Hughes drew most of our games. Meh.

Lost 20 out of 55, not good enough

Both Rocky & Ballo are looking it the total opposite direction of the ball. No wonder we aren't scoring!

Considering hughes had us in the relegation zone in his first few months, the comparisons not that fair. God knows why/how he made us so bad, but he did. He also didn't have a lot of the current team available for the first few months, so it's a bit like comparing it to Pearce's team.

A better comparison would be the last 34 games of each. No idea what the result would be and even if hughes had averaged 3.2 points per game, I wouldn't want him back.

Erm, can I just make the point that when Hughes came to City, we had Darius Vassell & Gelson Fernandes in the team, when Mancini came, he took over a side containing Tevez, Bellamy, Adebayor, Kompany, De Jong , Robinho (who he still hasn't got the best out of as promised) etc etc. He's then spent another £150 mil on top of that in order to achieve the .3 of a point advantage. If Hughes was still here & had only managed that after spending another £150 mil on what was already a pretty good team, I'd be wanting a substantial improvement pretty soon, like I am with Bob. Some of you lot who are pleading patience however, would be screaming from the rooftops that you want him out.
