The equivalent would be to sack Mancini today because we weren't 4th yesterday. Nasty dishonest business which is in part responsible for a lot of the bad press we get today. They should have either sacked him the season before or judged him at the end. Hopefully though some of the press will be scared to push the issue any further after today's performance, which was a definite improvement on Hughes' team.

Tripe on stilts. The decision was made when we were 8th, after a full set of matches had taken place, Hughes knew his fate already before the Sunderland game which put us into 6th on the evening of that game, Cook would have to have been psychic to know we would win that game when we had only won one of the previous ten!

Well there's one set of rumour & hearsay wich as usual you're peddling as fact when the actual fact is he was sacked after the Sunderland game when we were 6th. Don't tell lies to make a point, it's lower than snakeshit & there's no need for it. This isn't politics it's a footbal forum.

And as another matter of fact prior to the Spurs defeat we'd just beaten Arsenal & Chelsea & drew with Bolton Hull & Liverpool. The Sunderland game was the 3rd win in 5, better than Bob's current record. The Spurs game on Dec 16th was the 1st defeat since the 20th of Sept (at Old Trafford), 14 games earlier. The run of draws that he got sacked for which unacceptably included home games against 3 of the bottom teams also included away games at Villa, Birmingham, Liverpool & Bolton. All games over which you will suck Bob's dick if we get a point this season & say it's perfectly understandable.

Whether Bob turns out to be the next Jose Mourinho or not, the Hughes sacking was not City's finest hour & the continued lies & hypocricy surrounding it is still quite annoying to say the least.
