How fucking hopeless is that game? It's like watching a pre season friendly with everyone jogging around having a bit of a run out.

Nothing against Jo starting but if Jo's going to play today, I wonder when AJ is going to get another PL start? Can't see it being v Everton.

While a lot of us are wondering about the line up and how the attack will fare, having watched the Sunderland game i would say that a lot of this game will be decided by the Hammers themselves, Sunderland completely failed to take advantage of so many poor passes and mistakes by WH and on the day were hardly any better than them. A lot of pundits said they actually played better than they have done, so if that is anything to go by and they dont tighten it up there will be so many gaps and holes from misplaced passes in their own half that City will have opportunities delivered on a plate to them.

They are all big names for us now, we are in this title race for sure. We must win today as the others get 2 games before we play again a week monday, discounting the Juve match. 3 points here will make things look very different, obviously. But a point or none and say the arse get 6 from their 2, it starts to look a bit iffy. We win today, the cat is amonsgt many pigeons.

Hope you're right. I've had a small investment in Yaya at 12/1 E/W.

Never thought I'd say this. We could do worse than Jo. He has looked -cough cough- decent as of late.
Only three and a half hours to go. Think I'll make me some bacon and eggs to hold over till game. When

Good point. We'll find out soon. Imo Zabba was so superb in his last match at right back that he should keep his place there..

Be interesting to see where Jo plays. I recon it'll be alongside Yaya/Silva & getting forward to support Balotelli whenever he can rather than as a full support striker. I thought he did well v Fuilham playing that position, when he stayed mainly on the left, coming inside, but if anyone had suggested at the start of the season, that he'd be doing that job rather than AJ, they would have had the piss taken out of them. Surely AJ has to make that job his own very soon or go & play somewhere else?

It's one thing being kept out of the side by Silva or Balotelli but he really should be able to take the shirt off Jo, 100% of the time.

Cannot see him playing anything other than 433, so should mean Jo in the same pos. as he had last time. Wonder why AJ is not playing, probably because he wants more strikeforce up top and Jo does give us more prescence up top IMO.
