Anyone else watching it?

Hoping for a good game and maybe a few injuries to cheer me up.

Thought bale was badly hurt for a minute then. Shocking tackle from essien.

I had my fingers crossed he was staying down.

Chelsea have been shocking, no where near title contenders.

He hadn't been touched at all by Essien, and people say OUR players go down easily....

Before this game I was going to post this in the "future striker" thread but I'm ever more convinced now: if there is one player that would suit perfectly Mancio's playing style, he is Pavlyuchenko.

Really open game no surprise with Spurs involved. Hoping for a draw but can see Spurs edging it, at least until Drogba and Lampard come on.

Think I'd rather see Spurs cut adrift though.

Terry awful for the goal.

Chelshitsea is playing like they want Ancelotti out. Hope for a draw, i don`t want Spurs in our back again.

Think you might want to re-watch that one mate, he was a cunt hair away from snapping his leg. Awful challenge and he's extremely fortunate not to be seriously injured.

Saw it on a river so it's not the best of quality but from the angle where they've shown the replay the impression is that he did it all by himself with the leg making an awkward movement beneath his body, while Essien's leg didn't appear to hav eencountered any obstacle.

I agree with markuse, it looked like most of the damage to Bale was done before Essien even got there.

That's not for me to decide, but if it was up to me I'd do this swap in a heartbeat. Unfortunately Pavlyuchenko after felling out of the graces of Twitchy decided to fight for his place in the team and succesfully did so, hence I don't know if 'Arry would accept it.

If this was August 2010 it would have been Pavlyuchenko + 5 mln for Ade easy and neat

I heard Twitchy on the radio last week denying that he has ever looked at Ade. Simply not interested were his exact words.

That reads like a statement but has a question mark so i'll answer anyway.

If bale or any spurs/chelsea/scum/arse got injured i would smile. Not because im malicious but because if the teams around us lose players it will be harder for them to cope and it will make it easier for city. But i dont watch every game hoping to see someone get hurt. I'll watch UFC 124 for that later

Translated from Twitchese to English does it mean that he's interested?

1-1, good result for us but chelsea have still looked shit. They can barely string 3 passes together.

They keep flahing up the match stats, Chelsea have more shots, more on target, more corners. Just shows how the stats can lie, as you say, Chelsea have been poo.
