Tevez - Official Club Statement

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

I do not give the slightest shit, he's a big time Charlie.
Go, well replace you easily.
Just hope you're next move teaches you how good of a position you was in at us.
Unloyal prick.
And to anyone calling him a legend, think again.
Very sad if people think he's a legend after not even 2 seasons here.
I reckon that will be the glory hunters.

Indeed, I should have left the 'fans' bit out as it seems everyone linked to football is getting this way more regularly. It's good that the club have come out with thier statement mind, I'm just surprised as the level of namecalling and abuse our exhero has recieved in the last 24 hours tbh ... weird shit

Iv'e been trying to stay away from this all day, but the truth is im gutted. I can't see why some are saying " the sooner he goes the better", this is madness. How much will it cost to get any other stricker that could score the same goals per game or better than we have already? and is there any player out there to step up to the mark?.
I hope it all gets sorted if only untill the summer as the other strikers we have already need replacing, and trying to change the compleat front line in the Jan transfer window is bloody stupid.
We have created the problem for our selves here and it will know take a strong manager to put a stop to it, and keep the house in order at the same time. This could be the biggest test yet for Bobby Manc, and we may ust become alltogether stronger for it.

My official statement on the matter is thus:

Retirement
If Tevez wants to retire from the game and go live back in Argentina and be a stay-at-home dad then I have no beef with that and will thank him for the many goals he has scored for City

Money
If Tevez and Kia are trying to force City to pay him even more stupid amounts of money ala Rooneygate then Tevez is a Twat and should be twatted accordingly.

Spain
If Tevez and Kia are trying to engineer a move to Spain (would have to be Real as Tevez can't pass the ball very well and Barca need players who can pass) then Tevez is a Twat and should be twatted accordingly.

I remember his ex-wife moving away from England as she couldn't fit in and didn't speak English. She'd move to Spain as she'd fit in and speak the lingo so it's not as impossible as it first appears for him to end up in Spain.

The Manager
If Tevez cannot get on with Mancini and this has brought it to ahead then Tevez is a Twat and should be twatted accordingly. He's paid over £200,000 to kick a ball and should put aside personality disagreements to earn his wage.

"Doing a Robinho"
If Tevez wants to do a Robinho and go back to Boca on loan whilst we pay his wages then Tevez is a Twat and should be twatted accordingly. Also the club is a twat and should twat itself for setting this precedent with Robinho and Bellamy.

As with City's statement there are conflicting messages coming across here - does he want to go home or does he want more money? We'll find out shortly........

This ends my official statement.

I have stayed away from all this until now as my head hasn't been able to process the simplest of thoughts let alone this. Initial reaction is that I would be gutted to lose him for all he gives to the team. If as MRM's states it's engineered to get a move to Spain or for more money en my soft spot for him will be gone. However if he goes back home and plays for an Argy side so he can be closer to his kids then I give him the utter most respect, as sorry as I would be, but family comes first.

My haze continues.

For me, it can only be about the money. The statement starts with them wanting to renegotiate his contract, which we would not entertain. It then goes on to basically say his agent is a complete and utter toad-faced cock who has forced Carlos and the club to come to loggerheads.

Carlos is no innocent party in this but Kia has had his grips on him for such a long time that I'd suggest Carlos let's him do whatever he wants when it comes to earning him money.

This sums up my feelings as well.

I'll reserve my judgement until we have clear answers from Carlos

Written transfer request. It might not be from the horses mouth but we can all assume that it's pretty genuine. Whatever his reasons, he wants out. For that reason and that reason alone, I would like him to fuck off asap. This smacks of Joey when he did it to us. I didn't cheer the little scouse cunt for the rest of the season and the same will go for Tevez.

To me this is like a serious injury. I won't get angry about it. We live in a world now where this shit happens and with the money we have we'll attract greedy bastards as much as we attract quality footballers.

Fuck them all. City come first and will always come first. If they don't want to be on board whilst we head into the future, they can fuck the fuck off.

no weirder than the amount of love he got after the amount of abuse he got before he joined us. just resign yourself to the fact all footballers are cunts and don't give a shit about any club or the fans. balotelli is regarded as the biggest cunt in football but at least he doesn't pretend to love us, he doesn't give a fuck and is honest about it.
