Tevez :Entirely Reasonable Demands

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Tevez :Entirely Reasonable Demands

Postby Green & Blue » Thu Dec 16, 2010 2:18 pm

They say it cannot be a coincidence that I am getting into troubles with each club I play. I say too right is not coincidence: English football is full of people who fail to do what I want.

First the hack Ferguson fails to appreciate me. Since I leave his team, they are of course in a right big mess. In years to come, when they speak of Manchester will they say: "Oh, the angry red-faced man, yes he brought some modest success - although he did make the fatal mistake of letting go Tevez, the greatest forward who ever played the game"?

Or will they just say: "Red Face who? Never mind about this whisky-drinking idiot, let's talk about the brilliant and handsome Tevez some more. Tell me more about his exploits, for they make my bosoms heave and quiver like a traditional Argentine blamancha - a sort of firm soufflé with pieces of steak in it - and I, like all gorgeous young women, do not think he looks remotely like a dog; and if only people were willing to pay Tevez what he was worth, then they would still be basking in the warm glow of his splendid goalscoring and 125percentness and running about all day. Not running like a dog in the park. Running like a man."

Enough of Red Face; he is dead to me and I never think of him at all. Hate hate shout shout money whisky cruel. Life moves on. And now I am to leave Manchester City, please God. Why? Because they make promises to me that they break.

I have quite clearly written down in contract that I and I alone is allowed to wear head or neckwear on a matchday. Did I invent the snood to see the idiot Mancini make a mockery of it with his so-called scarf?

I tell my handler Mr Jooraboomboom that I have grown too big for City. I say it is time to move, I am a big fish in a small pond. He say: "You are not a big fish. You are not even a fish." He tell me concentrate on running around a lot and choosing nice colour snood, he take care of the business stuff.

I say if I cannot take my snood empire to the next level than I shall take the only other course of action to me: I go on strikes like the heroic Argentine labour leader Eva Peron, and they get no more running around out of me until Mancini has scarf taken off him by the owner Mr Omar Sharif. One out, all out, my brothers. Viva the snood!

i'm really not sure these days, back in the 80's i had a feeling it came in through Holland, but then local labs started up and probs just pretended it came from Holland to keep up the cred.

This hole so called Tevez saga feels like a hang over that doesn't lose it's grip upon my body. WTF is going on. I'm off making some more Glögg and looking forward to the game tonight.

i dunno...people are just hurt Kiers. I think it's normal. It's hard to balance "fuck it we can get on without him" vs. "our aspirations this season are well and truly fucked." Neither is true, but for most folks on here i'm sure it's a balancing act emotionally.

I think Tevez is properly wacked out of his mind, and that Kia is a fucking asshole of the biggest magnitude. I don't think MOST of us have been too harsh tho. On the "Ashton" scale i think most folks are about a 6/10 in terms of anger and shit talking. Some are higher.

In all this I feel a little sorry for Tevez because he's only got ten years to play football at the highest level and because of the people surrounding him, not supporting his career and giving poor and selfish advice he's going to fucl it up! Putting his football career in perspective what is ten years outside argy bargy land and then 60/70 years at peace with the family (not forgetting the several months a year spent at home)?

Well as we had climbed out of the shit for so long and even recently having to be patient with Mancini's ways, we finally looked like we were about to get it right, more so after the WHU result.. and then WHACK!
If there was one player that virtually no-one had a bad word for it was Tevez, so for the Whack to come from him and more so the timing.. it couldn't really be worse.
On top of that we dont know what it is all about, we can only surmise like the press and everyone else. We only know for sure that he handed in a transfer request for some reason. The upset anger and disbelief are totally understandable, the reactions maybe as well but really we should wait and see what happens and if some explanation comes out of it that makes any sense. The only thing i doubt is that any satisfactory explanation of the timing will come out, it is possible to understand that Tevez has problems and frustrations but to go public and at this time is unacceptable.

Personally while shocked and disappointed i haven't felt that i need to kill Tevez and i think the main reason for that is i have felt for a while we needed to have a strike force as good as or better without him. In fact i was and am so convinced by that, that this episode in my mind just highlights it, i was sure when this broke that the Club would tell him to shut up and force him to play, which looks likely.. and meantime as no-one is under any illusions anymore we can get about the business of creating an attack without him in case he is injured, banned, sulking or we fuck him off.

the one thing i disagree with in your post is that you imply that it was shocking that we were hearing this news regarding Tevez, the one player we all love. Well, the truth is we've heard the rumblings about retirement, dissatisfaction and the (alleged) spats with Mancini all season really. Which is why it didn't 100% surprise me when i heard the headline, but i also didn't really believe it and thought it was Chinner's Bollox Super-Sized. Guess i was wrong. Altho, roll on Friday -- maybe Roberto can fix it?

We just need to buy in Jan at a pretty penny since we'll be seen as wadded and over a barrel because of Tevez...sad. Wonder if we'll do that?

cheers

I still love him mates....I can't help it. I still even like that little turd burglar Robinho.

I have a really weird feeling that we shall finish the season with Tevez 32 in sky blue

Well i was quite shocked.. perhaps by when and the fact that it was a transfer request that sounded pretty definite. i put his grumblings down to.. well grumbling basically.

However i dont feel that we are over a barrel, as pointed out ages ago we needed someone to perform instead Adebayor and to a lesser extent RSC and i've always thought we would be in for two strikers anyways whatever the weather. I don't see that this changes that very much, bar perhaps that one of those strikers needs to be mint... but we would probably have said that anyway.

Mancini and the Club will sort this AND we will get two strikers and then go and win the league.

i don't hate Robinho either...i'll always root for him. Elano too. fuck me.

my third strip with a Tevez 32 on it really hopes he doesn't leave. it's so dead sexay...i can't bear to stop wearing it. i don't care about the team. it's fashion all the way for me.

cheers
