I'd say it's got to be
-----------------------Given-------------------------
Zabaleta-----Toure----------Lescott-------Bridge
SWP-----------------De Jong-----------------Barry
Bellamy--------------Tevez-----------------Petrov
Bench from: Santa Cruz, Garrido, Johnson, Sylvinho, Taylor, Weiss
and I think that is every single available player???!
Our bare bone looks quite decent ...
They certainly do on paper but against well organised defensive oriented teams that starting line up lacks variety & power going forward. So long as we keep either RSC or Ade in the picture, we're much more balanced but imo we should find either a veteran or brilliant kid with physical presence to add to the squad in case both Ade & RSC go missing at the same time.
Has anyone on here seen John Guidetti play? I believe he's big, fast, talented & had a bit of a blinder for the U18's the other day. Could he be fast-tracked into the squad? Anybody?
Agreed, but not too long ago our choice was between Benjani and Vassel or Vassel and Mpenza ...
Anybody else miss Mpenza?

I think Sol Campbell's quote that Notts Co promised to sign 'superstars' - "Roberto Carlos and Benjani were mentioned" is worth a good smile!

An open system would make for an exciting game, but let's not forget since Zola took over West Ham have been all about attacking football - can see them as a bit of a banana skin if we're not right on our game tonight. Even with injuries we certainly have the quality all over the park, just need to avoid taking this one for granted.

This calls out for 4-3-3 and attack them proper.

Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

Just to mention, Jay from work was atching the lads get off the coach at the Radison, and said that Carlito wasn't amongst them. He said that Shaun disappeared as well, but I think that was because he stepped off the pavement ;-)

nice. that seems almost too easy these days. i'm scared you've jinxed us now. First Noolie and his 6 minutes of injury time...now this. Typical mcf.net.
cheers
