Gillie yer silly git....I don't know why you'r bothering giving the Sikko oxygen mate. Obviously has ego problems and personal insecurity issues.
If he's an Aussie mate...he should be looking for the ashes that his mates lost. Leave him alone and let him pay for a pro shrink to help him out.

Is this about football or cricket. Who cares about the Ashes? I have been in Aussie for 55 of my 67 years and have Never Ever been anywhere near a cricket ground. Don't talk to me about such boredom.

Hey Gillie,
Did I ever tell you about that kid who used to stand in the corner of the playground shouting for us to pass the ball to him?
Nobody liked him so we didn't. It didn't stop him shouting though. We just ignored him Mate.
Apparently when he left school, he got a job cleaning windows after they had been fitted into the frames. Some sort of rag for some glazers.
Sad ending really, he went bankrupt and died in a plane crash.

Fuck me - this prick's an obvious wind up merchant! Claims to be 67 and says his favourite player is Berbaflop? Bollocks!
No rag over the age of 12 would say that - and only this season would they even say that!

You are both right and wrong Dario mate. You are wrong to consider the prick a WUM. That takes brains and usually humour. However, you were right 1st time by defining him as a prick...nothing else mate...just a prick.

Probably quite a soft prick at 67, yeah?
Berbatov wins golden boot, spends following season on the bench while his team loses title on goal difference. Well played, Fergie.

Just pop Over to newsnow, type in Manchester city, then select 29th December page 5 and it's there for all to see, posted at 2.44.

I presume your armchair support of 50 years is just as factual?

Come on blues, we're better than this.

Let's attack the argument not the person... besides it might be fun to have a 'rag' to toy with; that is of course if he wishes to stay around and exercise some mutual respect?

What say you [strike]rag[/strike] Cikku?

New Year greetings from a Manchester United fan who just HAPPENED to stumble upon this post. Let me assure you that cockney red is really a manc blue, sorry to spoil your fun folks!

A lot of you guys seem to be obsessed with United 'glory hunters'. You can be certain that you will not have to worry about it at City because before glory hunters can be attracted, a club has to achieve some glory. City has been unable to do that in over a century!

Happy New Year"

@ SORTED, I certainly cannot disagree with your call for respect. If you go back to my very first post it had respect written all over it except to point out the obvious fact that City has never achieved any glory for them to attract 'glory hunters'

Opinions can be disputed mate but Facts are set in stone. Comparing City with United is just as dumb as comparing the Spice Girls with U2

Best wishes for 2011

Fair play to ya for responding fella.

You didn't come on here all guns blazing and in all honesty I thought the treatment of you was a bit harsh.

However, regarding your statements:

Opinions can be disputed mate but Facts are set in stone. Comparing City with United is just as dumb as comparing the Spice Girls with U2

...City and United were extremely comparable (only 2 major trophies separated us) until you won the first Premier league title in 1993 and started making large sums of money off the back of it. Please let's not fall into the trap of thinking history only goes back as far as the 1992/93 season!

...except to point out the obvious fact that City has never achieved any glory for them to attract 'glory hunters'

I wholeheartedly agree with this comment about Blue glory hunters.

As the world and his wife knows we haven't won a major trophy for 34 years - no glory to be had there right? Nope none whatsoever, but then again it hasn't been about trophies for the bulk of 'us'; it's about the deep rooted pride we have in this club of ours, a love so blind and unconditional that your match-day attending glory-hunters could not even begin to comprehend how this feels. WE have supported our club through thin and thinner and let me tell you something right here and now mate; once we do start winning things, this season I predict, then you will no doubt - stadium expansion willing - see a huge increase in our attendances similar to those your team witnessed after securing it's first league title in 27 years.

This will of course just be the start of the shape of things to come. I suggest you start getting your head around the idea. The past may be yours but the future's ours!

Terrible analogy. City are only going one way my firend and you know it. Comparing them to a one hit wionder that will never bring back the glory days right as they begin their 1st crack at the title in over 30 years is rediculous.

United HAVE been more successful, but the death grip of them and the big 4 has weakened beyond repair and we are coming to the party, invite or not.
Tracking back is overrated.

So winning the Rumbelows Trophy continued a streak of winning title after title did it? How does that work then?

No, I don't remember the last time my club won a trophy.. but I still support them. Does that make me a worse fan or a better fan than you? Think before reply now (or get your carer to help you).

Cikku wrote:The 'other side of the planet' is not as far away as you think mate. The world does not begin and end at Eastlands, Old Trafford or Maine Road. I probably know more about YOUR club than even you do.
The other side of the planet might not be so far away these days because we have internet and satellite TV. My question was how did you 'follow' your club in the 50s?

On a side note, you seem to have quite an unhealthy interest in Liverpool FC as well as the rags*. Is this in case utd stop winning stuff and you can jump ship or are you BITTER towards them as well as City?

Happy New Year

@ King Kev, This is beginning to sound like one of those going round in circles discussions mate. Neither you nor I are better or worse fans of our clubs but you seem to have an opinion that unless you live in the shadows of your stadium you cannot be a REAL fan. TOTALLY WRONG and here's the big difference. City are merely a local Manchester club while United belongs to the WORLD, they simply happen to be located at Old Trafford.

Anyway it's after 9pm on New Years Eve down here and I have a party - and a few drinks to enjoy. Happy New Year when yours come around in a few hours.

Wosrt decision in the world to let a rag infest this site. There is no reasoning with the horrible little turds so what's the point of trying. They are just self-centered pricks the lot of them and that arrogant cunt is from Oz as well and still professes to be a better fan than any supporter from any other club, pure typical scum arrogance. What a cock. Scum fans should be deleted as soon as they are detected.

Before I activated his account I did some research on him. On seeing his age I hoped that he might have more to affer than the usual mindless 'we win more than you' monotonous shite you get from a younger rag 'fan'.

Obviously he turned out to be just as boring and childish as all the others. You'd think I would have learned by now!
