Why didn't they send a bigger car!?

He's going to have back ache by the time he arrives FFS!

If that's a normal sized car, the guy must be absolutely massive.

Fuck me... we've signed Gulliver

Let's hope no ones able to tie him down like Gulliver

Fergie is a Knight Of the Realm. There is no way such a man would stoop so low as to hijack a deal already agreed between 2 clubs!

SSN saying Dzeko has had his medical up in Manchester( no mention of whether he passed), that he will not be at the Emirates and that he hasn't yet signed. I assume the Club like players' medicals to be undertaken up in Cheshire so nothing sinister there. Also I imagine they want the signing plus associated PR to be conducted tomorrow when Mancini's back in Manchester. We also haven't heard whether he's got his work permit yet. He's a Bosnia regular and they're 44th in the FIFA rankings so there shouldn't be any problem.

R.Mancini prefer 4-3-3 formation and because he needs Džeko (3rd and foremost striker)

Yeah he would've been useful for defending corners.

in games like these you'd appreciate player who can win balls in the air and do something on his own there. He is triggerhappy as well so we would've had few shots on target for sure even if they were from distance.

I agree,no creativity, however,a glaring lack of midfield pace was also obvious,i'm of the opinion another wideman is essential, especially given the signing of Dzeko.

I'd give Nzogbia the nod - pace, power, skill and weighs in with a few.

He's not only triggerhappy, he actually hits the goal quite often with his long range efforts, so there's a solid chance he might have scored with one of them.

I would have loved to see Dzeko as our striker tonight. The big question, though, is whether Tevez would be content with a wide position. He would/could have played a big role in Jo's or Milner position tonight if he would just take his defensive responsibility (and if he's ego would be able to handle it).

Info from Bosnia

Dzeko tomorrow will not sign a contract.
This night he had to leave England coz he has problem with VISA (Bosnians can not enter without a visa to England)
Right now he is in Bonn (Germany) / consulate, and Friday morning will sign a contract. After that he needs a work permit, and he can not play in Sunday against Leicester (FA CUP) / late with the application...debut will be the next round in PL against Wolverhampton 15.01.2010.
