Ireland could regularly visit the Blue Planet Aquarium on the Golden Mile. He could take a fold up chair and just sit there silently for hours gazing at the Pike. I'm sure his MBNA CityCard could afford him an Annual Membership even. he wouldn' even need the 2 for 1 tokens from the back of Cheerios.

it's not as good as the one near Chester mind, which, apart from the Sharks and the big fuck off Tuna, is actually pretty shite to be honest.

They're saying they'll have to double it if they want a shot at him.

Charlie Adam is a massive fish in a puddle. Blackpool are doing amazing this season and good luck to them. COME ON, we all recognise the second season syndrome when we see it, and blackpool are IT. However, Adam will not leave until the summer window and when he does, Blackpools demise next season will be down to Charlie Adam leaving in the summer.

Charlie Adam is a good footballer but he aint top 6 by any stretch.

I grant he may not get in our side mate, but he's a fuck sight better than some of those that take the field for Scum (Carrick, Gibson, Bebe, Anderson et al), Chelski (Studge, Kalou, Kakuta) or Arse (Denilson, Bendtner, Arshavin). So in that sense he could easily be 'top 6'.

He has put in a transfer request which the club have turned down.

Looks like somebody has been talking money to him and his agent!

Come on KK, money has nothing to do with this, it's a choice between an over achieving Blackpool playing with DJ Campbell and Gary Taylor-Fletcher or an under achieving Liverpool and playing with Gerrard and Torres.

Liverpool may be doing shit this season and last for that matter, but they are still Liverpool, you cannot turn that down if that is your best offer. Who's to say he stays with Blackpool this season and next and they do a Reading and have a shit second season and he's back to being a championship player.

Clubs have to realise that loyalty works both ways. If Holloway is right in his assessment that Charlie Adam is worth 14m, how can the club justify paying him 10 grand per week?

Excatly, and for managers aswell, if Liverpool wanted Holloway then he would go, but they have to be this selfish and stubburn, he is losing his best player so he either wants to get as much money for him to replace him with or convince him to stay for a short while.

If he is off to Liverpool, which I think would be a great move for both parties, lets hope he signs off a la James Milner at Villa.

Also funny how Holloway must have thought he was only worth £0.5 million 18 months ago. Seem to remember him wrangling over even paying that much for him.

Holloway is fighting his club's corner, fair play to him. Should he just cave in and let his best player go for a few mill, or should he fight tooth and nail to either keep him or get the best possible price if he does go?

Just a quick one. Considering how he's played this season, and compared to other players who play in his position, how much do you think he's worth?

They're rating Jordan Henderson at £20mil, Nzogbia around £9-12mil, I think a realistic valuation for Adams would be around the £7mil mark

Easily I'd say, even a mid-table club would take a punt at 7 mil.

CHARLIE ADAM IS WORTH A PUNT, HE IS A LATE DEVELOPER, BUT BOY CAN HE PLAY SIGN HIM 10 MILL A DROP IN THE OCEAN TO US, BETTER PASSER THAN MOST OF OUR MIDFIELD JUST BECAUSE IT IS FORWARD, WHAT DID WE NEED AT VILLA KILLER PASS.

Half the money a week of Vieira, SWP Etc. for me a no brainer, Adam to Tevez would be a great link and Carlos could push on.
