If they were happy with Jo & Milner or SWP as replacements fo Silva, AJ, or Balotelli then they're fucking mental.

How would you otherwise explain the lack of activity this transfer window?

If they all settle in quickly enough then they'll be a much better team. If they struggle though, it could get quite comical.

Carroll on his way to Liverpool for a medical. Presumably he'll fail it as he's already injured and out for the next few weeks. Next.

i've no doubt liverpool will be in the hunt for champs league maybe even chasing title next season, and this is a great start for them. i think andy carroll is just brilliant. suarez i'm not so sure about, but if they bring in adam too they'll be a real strong squad again for the second half of the season. i fear they can only get europa league this year, but they could just cause problems for the likes of us...

Come on, this guy is a worse player than Dzeko with a very well known wild streak off field, 35 million is absolute mental business!

I'd keep an unhappy Torres rather than sign the "Jagerbomber" Caroll.

Liverpool are panic buying in my opinion!

Ahhh the little Lille striker. Eden or Edin?

Eden, and he is a whippet as well, plays wide right and is young enough to be hungry off the bench.

Reports now emerging that Spurs could still make a big money deadline day signing. Sights are being trained on Guiseppe Rossi.

My scouse mate at work has had his head in his hands all afternoon,

"Your Ruining football" I mumbled!

When you point out Robinho, Berba, Rooney, David Villa, along with countless others cost less. Then rub in the fact he has played 11 games this season.

I would value him at 8 million. The new owner obviously knows fuck all about football.

They should have just played out this season and bid again in the summer once he was fit again and had had another 10 or so games at this level. Its a panic buy at its best.
