Neil Young Tribute Tomorrow

Postby Nick » Fri Feb 04, 2011 10:01 pm

This forum doesn't seem to have enough ''match day at COMS'' type posts and just checked bluemoon re: tomorrow;

The club are putting a big photo of Neil Young on the 23rd/24th minute on the screens and want a big ''THERES ONLY ONE NEIL YOUNG'' Song. Can we please have this from EVERY city fan tomorrow, stood up.

I think theres also a celebration of his life pre match and a minutes applause before kick off.

RIP Nelly, much before my time but from what I've seen and read; he was one of our greatest players and should be remembered in the company of Bell, Lee and Sumerbee.

COME CITY LETS HAMMER WBA FOR NEIL!

Seems like his daughter wanted a one minute silence before kick off though; so not sure on that one.

Would be immense if everyone had there red and black scarfs aloft for this. I dont have a red and black one though; buzzing that I found a mint condition red and black shirt that still fits.

Think it would be great if the team wore a red and black kit as tribute.

At times like these that the FA could do with using a bit of common sense. David Berstein?

If it's true his daughter wants a respectful silence before kickoff, that should be it. Then applause going all round the ground when Neil's photo goes up on the big screen after 23 minutes. The Poznan dance has nowt to do with Neil Young though.

I'd be ashamed if any Poznan type shit was done for Nelly tommorrow.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would dream of doing that. I think what he is refering to is the fact every retard providing commentary for our past few games has brought up that we're doing the Poznan for Nelly :\

Thing is, the media think that the Poznan is somehow linked to Young.

All we can do is sing our hearts out from minute 1 to 90 and make it the best atmosphere at coms since day 1.

thats the best possible tribute
