great 1st half. But again, a partnership between Tevez and Dzeko is still a worry.

But in the premier league era...

1705: I can tell you, by the way, that today is officially a record Saturday for Premier League goals, beating the 36 goals scored on 27 November. Breathtaking.

Very unconvincing 2nd half - WBA could have had 3 or 4 easily as our midfield melted away. We really don´t look a team at times and the amount of times we gave away the ball drove me to desperation. Give the ball away so much next week and we´ll be talking about an embarrassment. Oh well done Arse handing the rags the title. Fuclin Spuds again .How many fuclin times is that now last minute. 3 points and a clean sheet but there were a lot of problems out there today. Can´t blame the rain coz WBA kept and passed the ball far better than us 2nd half. Missed Nige hugely I thought, MIlner better , Barry atrocious. Dzeko needs to get up to pace PDQ
I´very happy with the result but the flaws are there for all to see. West Brom are poor but at times they looked like the home team

Tis a Premier league record according to Mr Stelling.

Gutted at the Spurs goal. Heard about Arsenal and thought we had had a great day until I saw that Spurs had scored late.

Regarding the poor second half Nigel will be back next week and Yaya looked a bit of the pace; perhaps he wasn't fully over his midweek illness. That said we sat back and we shouldn't have.

I think you're trying too hard to find a fault in our game; second half we just cruised it to the end, with a 3 goal lead we were in the position to do so; we did give the ball away too much in midfield, but I don't think at that point of the game it was a problem. We were never going to play another 45 minutes like the first ones with the derby one week away.

Anyone taking bets on what time the rag penalty is given? I'll have a fiver on 84th minute please.
