Whilst I would be very happy if we got Mourhino , I am equally happy with Mancini. He has brought a stabilising influence to the club and is moving in the right direction.

You know what the Sheikh has a long term plan for us so sacking Mancio to hire Mourinho would be utter fuckin madness as Jose would only be here 2 years tops.

Spot on - we have a long term strategic project - Jose is an egotistical butterfly - totally incompatible

What is it that make CITY fans buy in to his image? - it would be a fucking circus - a wankfest by the media for a couple of years - no credit for CITY no matter what we achieved - it would all be about him - then he would fuck off and we would be set back years - just fucking nosense

I agree to a point but I don't agree Mourinho would neccessarily leave again so soon, now he has been to Italy & Spain. I think he may settle at a club after he leaves Real & then eventually move into international management at the end of his career. I would still rather keep Bob but what if Bob is planning on going in a couple of years anyway? He keeps talking about going back to Italy & 'when I'm gone in a few years' etc. What are his plans? Are we sure he'll stay?

I would like to see Bob build a dynasty, like Baconface has done at OT & be here through thick & thin, learn from his mistakes & become a great manager. That's what I wanted from Hughes too; the club to let him grow into the job. Bob, like Hughes, has made shitloads of cock ups but so did Ferguson. You learn from it & try to fix it & eventually get it right. My worry is that when Bob does get it right, he'll fuck off & manage Real Madrid or AC Milan etc.

If that's what Bob plans to do, I'd rather get Mourinho in as we would have nothing to lose.

Yeah - we have similar fears - but for me the evidence suggests thast there is much more chance that Bob might stick around and create a dynasty (or at least plan and manage an oderly transition) whereas Jose seems all about volatility and ego - so I would rather stick than twist

Right mate, not many seem to have noticed he gets oicked out wherever he goes. Why should it magically fall into place at City?

Don't see what this fascination with a dynasty is.
I would much rather have a string of winners in charge of us than a guy who is given time to learn from his mistakes.
Keeping it fresh all the time for me is a better way to approach it.

"I'll climb in to the Stretford End and rip that banner down." Or words to that effect.

Bob's the man. Lets give him more than just the usual few seasons!

Any thought of hiring Jose, must be burried, Players with egos is part and parcel, when the club is the sideshow to the manager, that is not for me.

I think this is one of the few places he MIGHT stay, because our owners don't mess about and control football matters, plus he'd get all the players he want. All the problems he's had have been because owners have tried to control stuff (Chelsea and alittle RM) or not getting the players he wants (RM). Inter he left for new challenges, as someone said now he's tried all three leagues and might want to settle down somewhere where he can control most stuff and get the players he wants.

Not saying I want him, just saying that I think he could stay if he came to us.
