I totally agree Ted and I don't get it.

It's all about the money!

FFS give it a rest. We are buying players for a number of reasons, it's the managers job to get them to work.

Time.

He will be at a crossroad come next season. Either he's addopted to the physical side of the prem or he's fading. He's used to play in la Liga we're every player at the "two teams" get a freekick for f*ck all. Adjust or seek pastures elsewhere.

Exactly that.We are missing a midfielder with a physical and mental tempo, one who can operate on the same wavelength as Silva and one who can support the forward(s) with pace.

DJ,Milner,Barry and Yaya are very one dimensional and more to the point, very similar in their style, they do not compliment each other. As soon as SWP came on the entire team looked more creative, balanced and threatening - i wish Nani was neither a Rag or a cnut.....
We need to find our own.

agree we need more pace in midfield ,aj could have made a difference today..as for finding our own, christian eriksen (ajax) impressed for denmark in midweek.

Wouldn't be suprised if the people who think Yaya is a waste of time think that using his stats to defend him is not relaying what is plain to see to the detractors. However for us that think he is one of our better players his stats like todays where he had one more misplaced pass than David whilst having completed more show how well he is playing.

I couldn't give a toss about stats.

I judge a game of football on what I see and I judge a City player on what I see. If that was good enough for you today then so be it. It wasn't good enough for me.

He was slow, weak and lethergic. Glad you enjoyed it.

He isn't doing enough when the chips are down. He's not a scapegoat for my frustration, I don't think we played too badly today but he was certainly a weak link. He looked like he was on his arse after five minutes, like a man who was taking his last breath. He lacked energy, movement and presence, the game passed him by.

This is becoming a far too familiar story in big games. He looks great at home when we're on top against one of the weaker teams. When we really need him to show his class, he just doesn't deliver. The debate about his fitness has been had many times, my view is that it is severely lacking. Fitness aside, I just don't think he recognises that we need him to lead and be a factor in big games like this. He should be bursting to grab the game by the balls and stamp his name on it. He just doesn't seem to grasp his role in the side.

Anonymous today when we needed him to play like a giant.

Very disappointing and flustrating again.

Not up to the pace of the game again.

Next season will be make or break for him in this league.

What? I thought he was pretty good today, particularly in the first thirty when we had them pinned back.

Each to their own I suppose.
