If it went in off his shin, he still must have got his leg into the perfect position for the ball to hit the target whilst upside down & middled it like a cricketer hitting a straight drive.

He did not try that though. He tried to get a clean hit with his foot, not with his shin. Therefore that is a bit lucky.
I do agree that he did fantastically well to hit the target whilst upside down but let's be honest, he did not try to hit it with his shin.

Well Nani's goal was technically solid, but similar goals are happen quite common. I am not really certain there is a proper technique for scoring on a bicycle since no two are the same (unlike a ball at feet like Nani's).
