Isn't Talksport some kind of sister organisation to Sky? I'm not sure exactly why I say that just whenever I have listened to it they seemed to be closely linked ie. they always have interviews direct from Sky Sports News and the presenters are always saying things like ".. our colleagues at Sky Sports tell us.." etc

You may be right but i've always just thought it's because they have no intelligent reporters at all, take 'The Moose' for example, he gets his stories from the Mirror, The Sun & Sky Sports News. I know exactly what his in-depth sports reports are going to be about before i get in my car in the morning as i've just watched the paper review on SSN ten minutes beforehand.

I used to shudder when Talksport started referring to Parry as a 'Comedy Journalist'. Thought they were really scraping the barrel with that one.

And after the (11 year old) revelations at the weekend that Keys referred to a black scottish footie player as 'Choco Jocko', was it any suprise that their first guest on the phone was Dion Dublin?...

Although Keys statement was a classic....:

Just a thought but if nobody listened to their show, or indeed this awful station, that would solve the problem.

I have continued my campaign of completely avoiding the station again for the umpteenth consecutive day, and its an easy thing to do!

I did listen to a bit of them today. Keys had the pious tone of an admonished schoolboy. Eye-rolling faux nicey-niceness.
