There are direct quotes from Mancini, but only along the lines of "who knows what's going to happen" - which is a safer bet than saying he's 100% staying and then watching him piss off come the summer...

fuck me....sometimes people are too stupid for words (not just aimed at you hyper)

the question went as follows

Tevez's deal with City runs until the summer of 2014 and asked if he felt keeping the Argentinian would be a problem, Mancini said: "I don't know this. I'm happy for Carlos because he has scored 50 goals for Manchester City and I hope he can continue to score. He is important, but in the squad there are more than 20 players who are all important

"But in football it is impossible to know what will happen in the future. I hope Carlos can continue to play here."

that does not mean what people are interpreting it to mean

Well I would say none taken - but can't tell if you intending to offend anyway! I'm not interpreting anything - think only the OP was with the slight over-reaction. My point was that what was said by Mancini means fuck all really, it's just a run-of-the-mill answer to a question he must've heard a thousand times...

Mancini gets pushed into corners by appalling questions thrown at him.Almost all the time he answers the same way and that is by saying nothing and the papers then interpret it the way they want because they are tossers.

I do wish he would stop going on about all the inuries though.

Debatable. I'd say we bought Dzeko because:

a) Mancini doesn't fancy Ade

and

b) Jo's about as much use as a nun's tits

Otherwise why not buy Dzeko in the Summer and avoid paying January prices? He was every bit brought in for the here and now. And he's nothing like Tevez.

Dzeko was definitely Adebayors replacement.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

I just looked at Google News and spotted that Drogba might be coming in to replace Tevez. Is this rubbish or what?
