Just seen the Shrek incident. I'm guessing no action is going to be taken as the ref's response suggests he saw it too - will be very poor if he doesn't get three game ban. Equally poor that Fergiescum claims it was not intentional - surprised he didn't blame the Wigan player for using his head aggressively.

There was a kid called Jack Lester once, at Notts Forest. He was one of these press favourites, 'linked' with everyone, England's future etc. I believe he's still playing in the lower leagues somewhere.

I didn't think it would beat Reina to be honest

Me neither, but tucked it right into the far side of the goal, not many centimeters slack on each side there... so well done:-)

Ba and hitzelsperger are class for west ham. Make them look a different team. Someone to support Scotty Parker, and someone who can actually do something up top

Ba and Parker have been brilliant - really impressed with the pair of them. Hitzlsperger's range of passing's pretty impressive too - not a lot's changed since he was at Villa.

The WHU red scouse result was sweet.
WHU get important points in their survival bid and at the expense of Liverpool. now just let's get our job done and this day continues nicely

Birmingham have gone a goal ahead after 30 minutes at Arsenal. (Zigic with a header from a corner)
