That was our defence? Without Vinnie we are in big trouble. Fulham could have easilly won at the end.
So the situations is this :
3. Manchester City 28 50
4.Tottenham Hotspur``27 47
5. Chelsea 26 45

If Chelski and Spuds win their games, we are 5th, after we could had been top on boxing day.

Mancini can suck me off the stupid cunt. I said at the start with Zabba in midfield it wouldn't work.
3 defensive midfielders at home to Fulham????? Well he's just fucked our champs league chances, as spuds have 1 game in hand which will level us on points, and chelsea have 2 games, and if they win them they go above us.

Tactically inept fucking shithouse. I hope he refuses a wage this week the cunt.

only one man at fault for that result and also the previous shitty ones in the premiership... that's Mancini.

Fucking shit football for the first half...Boateng cannot own that side of the field..Kolorov cannot cross a ball.....yaya is lethargic and the fucking tactics are shit.

But Mancini will blame injuries for sure.

We're nothing more than a team of lazy, flat track bullies. Unless we go 2-0 or 3-0 up quickly we are fucked because we slow to a crawl after half time (or after 20 minutes on Thursday). We never come back to win after going behind, either. We have no backbone at all, just hundreds of millions of pounds worth of expensive but mostly ordinary players.

Is it really the most important thing to comment on after such an abject performance?

If our players had as much dedication to their cause as you do, we'd have banged in 5, got Dzeko and Kolarov to do a dirty protest in their changing rooms, and be waiting outside to brick their team bus by now.

I do get confused when he works in training before the game with one formation and team and then plays something else in the actual match.

Badly missed Silva, Kompany and De Jong imho... I think Yaya needs a spell on the bench as well. Play SWP instead and dear lord even Vieira was better.

Shocking performance, shit result... but what wound me up the most were the two absolute cunting commentators... I don't know who they were but especially the one with the deeper voice never stopped slagging City off.

thing is, it wasn't even a shoking performance. Just usual.
Sometimes we're good and sometimes we're bad but when we're good, at least we're much better than we used to be and when we are bad we're just as bad as we always used to be, so that's got to be good hasn't it?

What was going on with Hughes at the end? Looked wound up by something.

That result has fucked up the predictions again. Home banker gone missing, thats the 4th one this season that we should have won. Its not looking good right now.

Those draws against dross will cost us and Bob - no doubt at all in my mind

We'd better get used to having him next season, too, 'cos there's no world class manager I can see knocking our door down. Problem is, Mancini looks and sounds the part (even if he probably isn't), and I can see that going down well with the owner. Expect next season to be much like this, except with maybe another £50 million spent.

For me the problem is not that we drawn, this won't be the last 1-1 in our history, but i hate the fact that we had 40 minutes to score, and i didn't recall even one occasion for us, that is the problem. I can''t remember the last game we won in the 90th minute, but i can remember 2-3 that we lost, or drawn at the very last oportunity.
We don't have the attitude, and this is what Mancio can understand. Spuds won 12 points this season in the last minute, and 6 or 9 after they were one down. If he doesn't fix this, it's Europa League for us again. (at least maybe we will be the holders).

Totally agree. "The Next Level" for us is Champs' League group stages, or a bit of silverware. I can't see us being too attractive a prospect should Mancini go before one of these is delivered- there'll be well too much at stake.

Even if we finish 4th, we have to go through a qualifying round to get CL football. If Mancini goes at the end of the season, a new manager isn't going to want his reputation to essentially hang on his first two competitive games in charge. On the flip side, if we finish third, he's met the owner's expectations, so we can expect another season of this. Fifth place won't attract a top-level manager. They'll only come once we have reached "The Next Level".

To be honest, another season of this wouldn't be too bad if City manage third, because it will prove there is some kind of method in the tedium. As you suggest (I think), if we finish fourth those qualifying matches could be our only ones in the CL, because we are so flaky in Games That Matter. Anyway, it's what I said before this season started - we need third.

It's not all doom and gloom, though. But we will never reach the next stage till we work our socks off for 90 minutes, rather than for half an hour, or less. If Mancini can't convey to the players the need for us to do that he'll be on his way sooner rather than later. Unless things improve he has maybe 15 months. If he goes *this* summer, I doubt there will be many tears.
