I can never understand why football fans need to have a scapegoat.

Personally though Tevez was as bad and if not more detrimental to the team today than Boateng but Jerome got the abuse at the game.

i think it is fair to say though that Boateng allthough he can do a good job there as he did in the first half, he isn't a full back. Get him in the centre where he has looked class.

Boateng didnt do a good job ...full stop.

He did not stop one cross from coming over from his side of the field....he is fucking wank in that position.

Kolarov did almost nothing right attacking or defending, from his 1st touch to his last. Perhaps one decent corner & one good volley which, had it gone in, would have been one of the goals of the season & therefore raised the average of his performance from Stephen Jordan level to Sun Jihai. As it was saved, he remained on par with Stephen Jordan.

How much did we pay for this cunt again? I've been all for giving him time but not at the expense of the team. He's fucking useless at the moment & nowhere near good enough to even be playing against Damien fucking Duff ffs. It wouldn't be so bad if he occasionally passed the ball to someone on our team. Put him back in his box & open it again next season & if he's no better, chuck him out of an aeroplane & claim off the insurance.

Boateng was shite but he was like fucking Carlos Alberto compared to Kolarov.

Ya see I just dont get it.... i got into quite a row with more than one person on the wat back into town, all of them were of the opinion that it was the managers fault, at which point i lost my cool a bit and went off on a bit of a rant, mainly because (I'm 25) and the nob head that wouldnt let it lie about our manager is the best ive seen since ive been following city!

I put this person in their place, only to be confronted by more like-minded muppets who believe that just because we only got a point from today, we should get rid of potentially the most important manager to take charge of city for as many years as i care to remember!!!

SO FUCKING WHAT we didnt win today BOO FUCKING HOO!!!!!!!!

ANYONE who thinks that we should sack off mancini deserves the ashley cole treatment, but for good rather than a fookin air pellet!!!

We win 7 home games in a row, the bastard starts posting again and we draw, I don't believe in coincidences but I do believe in a Jonah!

I thought Boateng was poor but as someone else said, so was Tevez....and a number of others.

The thing that irks me about Boateng (and Lescott to a great extent) is their tendency to gather the ball under zero pressure at the back and just lump it aimlessly (...actually, that's not fair, it's usually aimed quite well...to the fucking opposition) upfield.

Toure when Vincent is not playing is also guilty of this...it's like he catches it off Lescott.

All three of those players are MUCH better footballers than that and it is contrary to the whole method with which we play football (which is pretty (overly) patient passing of the ball around and all it does pretty much 99% of the time is turn possession over and put us straight back under pressure.

They did it again and again and again yesterday. This is their fault as players but I cannot believe that they have not been hauled over the coals by the manager/coaching staff for such fucktardery

It's because we only have one creative midfielder in the squad, who was missing, & we are playing with 3 fucking centre forwards, two dogshite fullbacks & no wingers. When Silva plays, the whole team sees a purpose of playing through the midfield. Without him, nobody really wants the ball so we lump it to one of the 3 centre forwards, but as we never practice lumping it to centre forwards, we can't even get that right.

Me. I got sucked in watching telly so I didn't sleep before the game. Therefore I didn't bother watching. Had I of watched it wearing the correct shirt, we'd have scored a winner.

Honestly, looking at the teamsheet pre game I did wonder where our midfield guile was going to come from.

Me too. It filled me with apathy. I just hoped we'd nick a goal (which we did) then keep it tight & hit them on the break (which we didn't).

Kolarov - liability in defence, liability going forward, wasteful with set pieces so much so that Tevez stopped him taking them.
Boateng - still masquerading as a full back when it is evident to the whole world he is utter wank in that position
Toure - did little wrong
Lescott - aimless punts up the pitch as usual
Barry - did little wrong, but neither did he contribute much positively
Zabaleta - tried his best but isnt a winger
Y Toure - awful distribution and contributed nothing
Tevez - greedy cunt
Dzeko - poor game, but you can't do much if no cunt passes to you
Balotelli - great goal, but otherwise dreadful

i had a go at kolorov yesterday and the guy behind me piped up you wouldnt have said that at birmingham, ,y reply to that was hes been shite today!! 5 mins later RM dragged him off i looked round at the arsehole and just smiled, needless to say he said fuck all after that!!!

WRONGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.
It's the players who pass over the white line at the end of the day, he's been blamed on so many occasions of being negative.
Went 3 upfront, didn't work at all.
But i really do not think he will be here much longer, especially if we do not qualify for champs league.
More manager changes, different players, more money, more ego's.
Madness.

3 up front, but nobody to get a decent ball to them. Manager's fault.

Spot On
Crap substitutions too.
That game cried out for Shauny having a run at their defence. So we get Gramps and then Milner. Vieira did ok but what did Bob expect Milner to do? He doesn't beat a man when he plays wide as he simply doesn't have the pace.

I have to agree with all of that. Kolarov gave the worst performance of any city player so far this season, IMHO; he was totally horrible.

Sound assessments.

Kolorov was more culpable than anyone else imo. The most annoying part for me was when he opted to shoot from an angle of about 1 degree when we are one up, with a clear opportunity to play it across as our attack swarmed in. Yet somehow, he doesn't annoy me as much as Boateng.

Sorry but he didn't impress me. I don't disagree that he COULD be a player in the future but he had almost nothing to do tonight yet was responsible for Villa's only decent chance, when he allowed Buckethead to cut inside easily when he should have been forcing him outside. That was elementary bad defending. On another occasion, Lescott came accross & rescued him just as he was about to be left behind in the box. If you compare his contribution to Lescott & Dunne, they did twice as much defending as he did.

Maybe ok one day but if we risk him at CB v a decent side in the near future, chances are he'll be responsible for us losing.
