4th is imo not good enough as we will still have to qualify and that is no given.

It stinks....and it stinks because Mancini still has not got his tactics right....and that has cost us.

True but 4th is the job he was tasked with though, so if he gets it, he's done what was asked of him.

The guy was garbage yesterday and shouldn't be played out wide or anywhere where he has to do some defensive work. He does what it says on the tin - scores goal - so don't play him in a position where he is ineffective for most of the game.

Sorry Spartacus but as a normally on the ball sceptic, you are showing a touch of naivety there mate.

Players are not fans, they are workers employed and well paid by the club. Their primary concern is the furtherence of their own careers. Some may have or get an affinity with the club but the vast majority do it as a very well paid job.

They show allegiance to their employers when it is advantagious for them and withdraw that allegiance as soon as it ceases to be beneficial. There is enough evidence of that.

Looking at the big picture let's not kid ourselves... he will be out of here the second Mancini goes (well, we'll get the obligatory X months of sulking untill the next transfer window first ofcourse) or if Mancini manages to take us to the promised land he'll maybe stay for two seasons. I am afraid we'll never see the definitive version of Balotelli because he wants to be in AC Milan.

Balotelli is not as good as he or some of us would have you believe.

His performances on the pitch, in terms of end result (goals, assists), suggest he's not as bad as some on here would have you believe either.

Sell him cheap or swap him with Pato. The sooner we get rid of him, the better. Every time I see him play in City shirt, I always feel he is playing for being sold. I doubt it if he can succeed anywhere with this attitude.
