Has Mad Frank Calmed Down

Postby Piccsnumberoneblue » Mon Feb 28, 2011 4:52 pm

I've noticed recently the Zabaleta seems to have less and less moments when he comes flying in at breakneck speed, where you know a foul/booking/penalty is coming. He seems to be using his head much more and as a result is one of our most improved players.
Somebody described him to me recently as "Tiatto with a bit of skill". I thought about it for a while and decided that would be a pretty useful player to have, but is it a fair description of him now, or is he more than that?
Has he calmed down, or is that in my imagination?
City and sniffing knickers.
Come on Blues.

He seems to also have the skills to pay the bills with his little double nutmeg turn on Sunday. I liked it a lot.

Your residence in Yorkshire, surely denies you any use of imagination Mate...:-)

Seriously, That is why I have said we need to be patient with our newer players. We can see their weaknesses all too plainly but as with Micah and now Zabba, there have been quite dramatic improvements. These have taken some time and it gives us hope that mancini or his staff can work with Boateng, Kolarov and Dzeko.
I KNOW THAT YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU UNDERSTOOD WHAT YOU THINK I WROTE, BUT I AM NOT SURE YOU REALISE THAT WHAT YOU READ IS NOT WHAT I MEANT
