Nigel Dejong makes a tackle on a Newcastle player, play is not stopped, the referee did not give a free kick, play continued. Sadly the Newcastle player broke his leg. The following Monday morning on Talkshite is a journalist I think is called Steve Curry...

" That Dejong should be banned, the FA should throw the buck at him, ban him for at least 6 months"

The attackes against Dejong on that channel continued for 4 days.

Personally, I agree with him. De Jong obviously went into the tackle with the sole intention of breaking a leg. You could see it in his eyes. De Jong is a stone-cold killer, hardened from years of torturing baby animals. Rooney was just running across the field. Sometime when you run really fast you raise your elbows to be more aerodynamic. Rooney's immense speed created a temporary vortex that caused an accidental collision with a nearby object.
