prem intro ad ...

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

prem intro ad ...

Postby kinkylola » Wed Mar 02, 2011 4:52 am

I don't know if you all get this in the UK, but on the international broadcasts before/during/after a prem game they have this little run in commercial, it's got a catchy synth diddy on it and it shows all the team flags being draped around england, usually in places associated with the team. Not city though! City's flag is shown for a fraction of the time as the other teams' and is hanging from bloody power lines in the middle of the countryside.

was just discussing it with a friend, he's not a city fan but thinks it's a bit odd as well.

maybe i'm just paranoid ... anyone else notice this?

hahaha, we have been talking about that since the start of the season.

Most everyone else has some iconic landmark and failing that, on the outside of their stadium and City's is hanging on a power line like it's washing on the line in the middle of fucking nowhere.

The first time I saw it I thought it was carrington. Everytime since I've looked for the training grounds.

I know because I've been there.

Well if you look at the amount of time devoted to unveiling the rag's flag when it's Chelsea who are the current champions, it's obviously rag propaganda. Ours is shown side on, in a way that anyone who doesn't already know it, would have no idea who it was.

Anything and everything. I'm currently running for president of the Keep Fu at City and away from the dirty thieving bindipping red scouse Foundation.

Can I count on your vote?

Bloody Hell, I'd relaxed on that front, I thought I'd 5000 posts without any pressure until my 10k. Now I feel guilty
