Not wrong there. We need him on it again!

Fuck me 1 in 3 which is better than van persie wayne £250 K PER WEEK GOONEY and we`re moaning cos we had to win ugly. We`ve been spoilt TOO quickly. I am over the moon with todays 3 pts cos we won ugly. If we have to do that for the rest of the season to give us experience and consolidate our position and take a cup I WOULD TAKE IT NOW AND IF YOU WOULDN`T YOU`RE A PLONKER. We could play pretty however and lose a cup final to brum.

It`s a learning curve.

This isn`t a dig at anyone in particular just a general observation. It`s all new territory to us. The media and rags want us to win something ti justify our soend and it`s flattering.

Quick question to put things into perspective:

Q.I`m not a bad driver and have driven trucks for 20 yrs until 6 yrs ago. if the sheik bought me an F1 maclaren and entered me into the F1 comp next season would I win every race or even 1 race.

A.Would I fuck. I would need to practice with my team for a long time. We expect too much at times wigwam or not. to dismiss teams at times is rag like.

Thanks for reading(not the opposition for next sunday, thats reading)

Most deflated I've ever felt after a win.

I don't see why
Man U have had countless numbers of these wins, this season alone

But we're not United fans.

yr right. if we were we'd prollee realize that championships were borne out of those type of performances. Sure, beating the top clubs is the sexy optic we've achieved sometimes but too often we lose or draw that match today with that shite of a performance. Today we got three points.

The rags have forged a decent grasp on first place this season alone with a string of "lucky" wins while playing like crap. I'll take a bit of that magic to hustle our way towards some silverware please.

cheers

God it wasn;t that bad?

Dull yes, but The Aris away game, Brum at home and United at home were all much worse, just to name a few.

Let's face it, pleased with the win but we were made to look very average by a Wigan team at home. They easily could have scored that last minute chance or even nicked it today.
What infuriates me is we don't attack in numbers, there is no support from midfield.

Tbf, pathetic & cowardly as it was, the rags game was an organised display of unadventurous but successful negativity. In the 2nd half today, we were a disorganised mess even when the whole team was full of defenders. Wigan ran straight through our back eight twice in injury time. When you remove your attacking threat & fill the team with stoppers & still can't defend against a team at the bottom of the league, you are officially utter shite on the day & there's no other way to describe it.

In the 1st half, in parts, we were Barca. In the 2nd, in parts, we were Phil Neale's City.

Too much talk of tiredness. Everyone else is in the same boat. Post match interviews are all about how hard it will be to get through the coming games. Show me some belief & winning mentality Bob, or just fuck off.

Agree with Ted - the tiredness is an issue to a point but watching Bob on the sidelines yesterday I couldn´t help feeling that there is a lack of empathy in what we´re trying to achieve. Just doesn´t seem to be able to inspire the troops relying on discipline and formation. He´s not getting the best from a talented group of players and that must be pretty frustrating for many of them. Back to basics is all well and good when we get performances like Pool and Chelsea at home. Perhaps the return of Nige is key in all this and with Pat seemingly intent on a major swansong maybe the 2 together can lead by example and start to drag the rest along to the party

The rags struggled more than we did v Wigan but when they scored, you knew that however well Wigan played, they were in extreme danger now, of conceding a hatful. That duly happened & the rags were ripping them to bits AT THE END OF THE GAME. Contrast that with City, having to take players off AT HOME in order to keep Wigan out because we're not good, fit, or confident enough to hit them on the break & kill the game off. Why? Because we've hasd one extra cup replay compared to the rags?

Or because we've got a six foot striker & Jo on the fucking bench rather than players who we can bring on fresh & lively & trust to run at the oppo & kill them on the break. We used to have Petrov, Bellamy, Ireland, SWP & Robinho, even Adebayor for this kind of job. Who do we have now? Why don't we have quick attacking players to bring on?
