Is a bloody tasty player. His close control and dribbling for Liverpool's first was as good as anything I've seen in a long time.

First time I have really seen him play. He certainly looks a top quality player, I wonder if we could buy him to cover/partner David Silva?

And what about the hair pulling, card waving and simulating? Quite the allrounder.

Impressed me today, but his attitude is Balotelli-type from what i know of him. So I fear what the comments would be if he were to play for us.

You'd think no footballer had ever beaten a couple of defenders before.

Give over. It wasn't just beating two defenders. He had his back to goal edge of the area with two defenders on him and the way he made space and went round another defender in such a compact area was incredible. If Silva did it, you'd be on about it for weeks.

He's done well today & hasn't done much cheating YET.

Any side who plays Utd with Wes Brown in the team should go for their fucking throats. they are so vulnerable when he's there.

And it was actually going in if Kuyt hadn't touched it. What a fantastic goal that would have been !
Noticed him playing for Uruguay at the last WC and said at the time he could be a good addition to our squad. He was cheap too !

We missed no fucking boat at all. Suarez is a very good player who deserves to be at a very good club, which he is.

But a top player at a top club? Nope.

One goal to his name. Folk here give Dzeko stick FFS.

I don't think he's tops mate, I think he's very good, but I'd have Tevez, Silva, Balo and Dzeko ahead of him, so I basically don't think he's good ENOUGH for us.

Wait so you have a go at people criticizing Dzeko yet you say Suarez would not be good enough for us when Suarez has shown more evidence than Dzeko thus far that he'll be a top player.. Hypocracy much?

A very good palyer. He is similar to Tevez in style but Tevez is the better player.
Currently,Dzeko appears a strange buy given his strengths and our system, and i would sooner have had us spent the money elsewhere, however,i expect that to be addressed in the summer and we will see his quality next season.

Hypocracy?

What has Suarez done to prove he'll be a top player? Is it because of his goal(s) and assists for Liverpool since he joined? Is it because of what he's achieved at his last club?

Because on all counts, Dzeko has bettered him.

Do wrong much?

Today Suarez absolutely dominated United's defense start to finish. Could you really see Dzeko doing what Suarez did for the first goal? His close ball control and dribbling was as good as anything this season.
What has Dzeko done that's so brilliant? A grand total of 0 Premier League goals. I've still yet to see Dzeko really dominate a game like Suarez just did.
Not saying Dzeko won't be class but it's stupid to say he's better than Suarez at this stage.

Dzeko may not have scored in the league (have you seen that ONE goal Suarez has scored ??!), but he has more assists and has scored more goals overall.

I think Suarez was brilliant today. But that's about it.

The players who he would be directly competing with at city are better than him. Its that simple. I'll say it again - a very good player, but not good ENOUGH for City.

Whether Dzeko will be is another question, but I'll go for yes on that one...

Is Suarez better than Tevez? No fucking chance. Silva? No fucking chance. Balo? No fucking chance.

He's good but I'm even more impressed with Meireles.

Last few times I've watched the dippers everything has gone through him, with Gerrard sort of looking on admiringly. Lucas is much improved too. They've got a fucking good midfield with everyone fit.
