Same sort of injury happend to one of the City girls a couple of the years ago but on her knee. Horrible injury but only took a couple of weeks to heal. Has he got a bone injury also or just the gash?

Its one of the most, if not the most embarrassing displays I've seen from a player. Its been a long time coming for him though - he's been rehearsing every game for this big show. Each rehearsal more intensified than the previous.

An in all it was an amazing performance.

The only way I know that wasn't actually Michael Jackson in that game is because Michael Jackson is harder than that.

They should have capped it off with an oxygen mask on his putrid face as he was "stretchered off".

Spot on. No way would Michael Jackson have cried and blubbed like that. Mind you being dead would account for some of that

4) Nani is still the kid in the playground

Maybe that's a little harsh and to give him his due Nani, who was taken off on a stretcher at the end of the first half, was entitled to be upset by Jamie Carragher's tackle. And the impact of football studs on flesh – at speed – can be painful in the extreme. And maybe Nani's head was still a little blurred by his accidental contribution to Liverpool's second goal. But crying? Bryan Robson never cried. Roy Keane never cried. Heck, we never even saw tears from Cristiano Ronaldo, the man who wrote the book on football prima donnas. Sorry to sound unsympathetic, but this is not a fixture in which to start blubbing. Don't think for one second that Sir Alex Ferguson was giving Nani a cuddle and passing him chocolate drops in the dressing room. As Tommy Smith growled in the pressbox: "It's Liverpool against Manchester United, for Christ's sake."

I thought baconface could of used a cuddle too after throwing his own tantrum by refusing to talk to the press
