It was caused by a terrible tackle. I can remember going over as she lay on the floor thinking she was being soft. But then the physio gave me a look and took the gauze off to show me. I then went mental at the ref asking why hadn't the girl been sent off and had he bothered to look at our players leg. He waved me away saying it was fair. Incompetent wanker!

Well, I can remember a certain tackle on a certain Ben Arfa.

Although, a gash like that on the knee tends to say the foot of the tackling player was a tad too high :P. Thanks for the info though ^^
