So many threads about bollocks. We just got taught a fuckin lesson in our naive play away from home. They are veterans and we are the new boys and it showed

A bit harsh, their debut is a Britpop classic. Version 2.0 was a solid effort, Push It and Special in particular were great. Granted they lost their way a bit after that but doesn't everyone? Plus Shirley Manson was a right babe back in the day.

That'd be a valid excuse if it weren't for the fact most of that team and management has played plenty of european football before joining us.

Doesnt desguise the fact that we were very naive. I thought we would be the team who were solid with men behind the ball and quick counter attack?

the thing is, when we was 1 down, we played more on the halfway line then moving forward, pass pass fucking pass across the field,
then when we went 2 down again pass pass fucking pass, we get a freekick 30 yds out and what do we do pass to tev about 5 yds away, loses ball then 4 of them atack us. at that point we needed to get ball into pen area. some passes was nearly great balls but

How much experience do you need before naivety becomes just plain stupidity?

Problem is as weve seen all season....lack of pace and urgency in all areas of the team!
Too many just want to turn and play the ball backwards. Why is that?
On the odd occasion we do go forward with pace (zabba down the right, pass to Tevez, Yaya shot), we look far more menacing.
Gotta be a big improvement next week or we can forget Dublin!

Thought we were unlucky tbh, not great, but no as bad as most making out. They were not the better team, a draw woulfd have been a fair result.
