Check out Balotelli's distance covered and compare it to other top forwards in the league.
Check out his goals to minute ratio
Then check out how other supposedly top class forwards perform when spending the majority of their game time out on the wing.
Then go back and look at his bookings and sending off. Forget that the incident involves Balotelli, and then form an opinion on whether he deserved to be punished.
Then spend a little bit of time reading up on allergens
Or maybe half a dozen posters are blind and can't see what everyone else apparently does.
And a poster with a whole 6 posts to his name should learn the difference before assuming he is one of those who can "think for himself".
That being said, still undecided on him but his last performance does make it harder to defend him.
What's 6 posts got to do with anything?
I'd love to know what he's doing that only a handful of us aren't seeing in that case? I'll already assume that most on here feel he has the same body language/work-rate issues that apparently made Robinho and Adebayor both lazy/uninterested? Incidentally, both players are now playing important roles for two other title chasing teams in Europe.
People can't seriously be unhappy with his on the pitch performances? I believe he is averaging 1 goal every 100 minutes, or something close to that. That is quite extraordinary considering he wasn't that lethal in Italy. He's also playing out of position pretty much whenever Tevez or Dzeko play.
I just feel, when things aren't going well, certain players take the stick for it, and it's normally the very same players who are often criticized in the media. This in turn tends to be foreign players who seemingly don't have the necessary 'Bulldog spirit' which English players are supposed to have. It's a frightening way of thinking, because it shows a lack of intelligence. The stick Balotelli is now receiving was sadly predictable, because the media have already hung him out to dry.
As for last night, it's already been explained. He had an allergic reaction.
