Always seems to have time on the ball, quality footballer. Dont think an injury can take that out of your game, my fingers are crossed for him.

Anyone else think its a terrible waste of talent? Rumour has it he has had drink n coke problems not just injuries, still looks like he is partial to a few shandys, how many lads would love to have had the opportunities he's had with the talent he possesses n wouldn't piss it up the wall. Should have been a regular in the team now in a Lampard type role

More overrated that Bojinov mate?

If (big if) he gets physically fit, stays that way, and has the right mental attitude he has what it takes to be a 'great' player - because, other qualities aside, he has the one thing which separates great players from the good ones ......... he always appears to have plenty of time when in possession.

You need a looooooong memory to recall the last time he put in a really good performance or had an impact at first team level.

Decent player but not great, good engine but too brittle, never fit and won't ever feature for us again. Name any player that misses 2 seasons and ever comes back strong? Its over, we wish him well but to think of Michael or even count on him being a factor for us again is a daydream.

Probably the romantic in me, But think of pullng yaya off on sunday and having a fit inform MJ coming on and linking up defence to attack. That player is just what we need right now.

I think the myth holds more weight than the man.

If he hadn't have been injured/ unfit/ pissed for the last two years by now we'd of jumped on his back, questioned his place in the squad and seen him sold off to Blackburn by now.

He is Kieron Dires! replacement. Over rated and always limping. Pity because he is a local lad.

he played 72 minutes in the League Cup in August and hasn't fgeatured since, so it's hard to say
Never criticise a man until you've walked a mile in his shoes.
That way when you do criticise him you'll be a mile away.
And you'll have his shoes.
