Lets be honest the only thing he would do on the pitch atm is be most likely to get sent off of it.

Mark my words, we cannot allow Balotelli anywhere near the big games or he will cost us!

What gets me is how many "clueless" fans actually called that he would cost us a big game by getting sent off. Where are the bookotelli lovers now? Let's be avin ya!

If he plays against the Rags, they'll simply target him for some special treatment and he'll be off in record time. I'd rather he fucked off on a permanent holiday.

Yep, spot on. City played better with 10. He can go on gardening leave for me, then go for whatever fee we can rob someone for him. If he plays against the rags, forget it.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Wonder who will be getting him on loan this summer. He is one player i would be glad to be rid of even if were still paying his fucking wages to score for someone else.

Fucking disgraceful selfish prick

Imagine being tevez, you work every second your on the pitch to try and get city somewhere and a little knobend like balotelli comes in and pulls this shit over and over again. Can't be good for the team atall.

Just got back home and didn't think anything could make me smile, but that vid did. He is utterly bonkers and the harm he's done tonight will probably never be repaired between him and most fans

He's a fookin idiot and should never play for city again, it's as simple as that.

some people say he's a rare talent (whatever that means) - hopefully where his city career is concerned rare has now become extinct - what a twat!

Although Balo does stupid things, I genuinely fail to see how it was a red card. He might have touched... his what? Shin? Upper leg? I'm sorry, I can't see what the commentators were ranting about the entire time. At best it was a yellow card.
We were all complaining about the theatrics of Primadona Kiev and this was simply another one. Balo hardly touched him.

Secondly, I remember Tevez blocking a shot on goal with his back last week. Guess he's an exception then. I also saw Tevez miss chances 2 yards out for us, even this season. So who are we kidding?

Don't consider this as some sort of defense for him. Just think of another player in the same situations. Simply said, it wasn't red. That he blocked the shot wasn't his fault, because how could he have known the ball would bounce where Silva was, let alone Silva shoot. Despite that, would the ball have gone in? Thirdly, other players have missed worse chances than Balo did. People are just looking for excuses to dislike him. Like the wankers commentating about his attitude all the time.

I'd love to hear how that was a red card though. He didn't kick at the player and he merely brushed his leg. Gee... dangerous.

If you are serious, take your blue blinkers off. That was as clear a red card as you are ever likely to see.

entirely predictable. as evidenced by the predictions of exactly this kind of shit happening in this very thread.

mancini bought him, mancini plays him, mancini can escort him back to italy, 2 one-way tickets are in the post.

thought straight away at the game it was a red and having seen it again (in a pub from a distance) it looks like although he made little real contact the intent was very much there. stupid challenge with added malice.

Being at the game tonight, and seeing the incident, I saw it as a straight red - no other choice. The intent was there - look how he followed up after initially putting his foot up.

Got home later and ESPN were showing brief highlights again and it looked just as bad there. Uwe Rösler wasn't impressed with him at all and said that effectively he cost City a chance at going further in the competition as well as letting the players, fans and the club down. Robbie Savage laid into Balo as well and to be fair to them both, they were spot on.

What worries me is that if he's got all this supposed talent, why isn't he channeling his energy into that instead of kicking other players? It's clear to see that opposition players have got the message - wind him up and he'll snap. He was lucky not to be sent off against Villa and in other games Mancini has subbed him before he's either got a second yellow or been red carded.

I'd rather him leave at the end of the season - that sort of player is not the player we want at City. End of.
