It's largely happened.

Today, as in many games, their performance was on par with an Aston Villa or Sunderland but the opposition are terrified of killing them off, they find themselves 3 v 2 on the edge of the rags' box & their legs turn to jelly. Meanwhile the rags expect the opposition to cave in & they usually do. I was particularly watching Muamba in this game, he worked hard & stopped attacks but as soon as he got the ball, you could see the shit rolling down his leg, he'd just kick the ball in whatever direction he was facing even if nobody was within 20 yards of him. That fear factor & rag myth is being perpetuated even on here by City fans, excpecting to lose the Semi v a very average Utd team, when we've beaten much better sides in the past with very average City teams.

Until that bullshit finally wears off, they'll always be hard to beat.

Correct - they´ve been shit all season not because they haven´t hit form but because they´re not very good and everyone else bar Chelski don´t know how to win

If we get a team that are shit and can still be top of league,in the FA Cup semi final and the last 8 of the Champions league.

I'll be a very happy man indeed.

We can't have that though. We've spent so much money we should be tearing teams apart every week.

That's exactly how it works (if you believe half of the experts on here anyway...)

Not quite as simplistic as just having spent loads of money is it.

The money we have spent has given us probably the 3rd most potent strike force in the world. So no, its not about the money, its about the players in our squad who are either playing below themselves, or they are being restricted from playing in the way they would naturally.

I never know where to check these things but I was sure I heard somewhere we were on exacly the same points as last year after 29 games. Wheres the best place to check these things?

Brilliant, thanks.
So compared to last year we are almost exactly the same after 29 games. Just this year we have a goal difference which is better by 2
