CREST / Coat of Arms

Just been back through the last three pages and couldn't see anything mentioned, so apologies if so.

Are we wearing the City of Manchester Coat of arms at the semi final? Am I right in thinking the club can wear it at any during any Wembley appearance?

I dont see the point in wearing it at the semi but we might for the final

"Manchester City Football Club would like to announce that they have commissioned a new crest to replace the round badge that has only existed since 1974. The new club crest is based on elements from the original "Arms of the City of Manchester", the crest which is still used by Manchester City PLC today and worn on the team shirt for all Wembley occasions"

so what happened for the play off final?
"Whatever it is that we "bought" - we didn't put it up for sale..."

City never wore the Manchester coat of arms at the Gillingham play off game. We wore the club crest that is usually worn for all matches.

sorry john, knew that. wondered why we didin'y wear the coat of arms if the above is true?

My thoughts would be that it applied only to Cup Finals...Not sure about the Full members cup Final though.
