Lescott for me with Nige and Vinnie behind him. I would commend Milner for effort but there were times when he had good positions in the first half especially that he just got it wrong.

Sadly today all our offensive players ( Silva,Yaya,Dzeko) got it wrong more often than not.

thought lescott was immense today.

nige and vinnie a shout too.

can we get a poll for worst on ground as i think it would be far more debatable than best

I went for Nige, purely because Lescott got beat for the 1st time late on & left that wanker Kolarov with some defending to do, thus 2-0.

i've slagged lescott off all season but this last month he has been almost as good as kompany, definitely a player who did not deserve to be on the losing side.

Nige for me. The player who most consistently makes the correct decisions on the pitch. Mancini may be to blame for the overall negative approach but he certainly doesn't plan for Kolarov to try to nutmeg opposition defenders and get in behind, Yaya to turn backwards when an attack is building and Milner to beat an extra man before crossing.

Game was over then but what about that time Nige stood on the ball to allow 3 players to crowd him.He lost the ball badly and they broke and could have easily scored.

PS I thought Nige was really good too:)

Which comedian voted for Kolarov??

Along with Toure he was utter wank and apparently Balotelli came on with ten mins to go.....

It was only 10 minutes but could he have done less?

JL starting to show why we paid the money for him. Between him and MR for player of the month.

Nige also for me. It would have been Lescott if not for that late slip.

Pity JL blotted his copybook for their second goal
MR still has work to do on his defending and he offered little or nothing going forward today
