Possibly but there's always a chance of us experiencing a touch of 'new manager syndrome' if we were to sack him now. In view of our results since Xmas, which are virtually relegation form, perhaps the added impetus of a new manager with new ideas might give these players the kick up the arse they need. As for who we'd get, well that's another story.

And who would want them based on the wages they are all on? It's been a nightmare to ship out Bridge, RSC et al and even they are going to boomerang back at some point, unless either we pay them off or they agree to a cut in their salary.

Well hows about a new concept. A manager who is brought in to manage the players he inherits.
Funny, it has worked before.

Allison, Book, Bond, Benson, McNeill, Frizzell, Machin, Book (again), Kendall, Reid, Book (yet again), Horton, Ball, Hartford, Coppell, Neal, Clark, Royle, Keegan, Pearce, Eriksson, Hughes and now Mancini.....
Not to worry lads...there are still plenty of out of work managers left that we can bring in over the next 30 odd years.
Not wishing to rub it in but I have actually seen City win the league, the FA Cup, the Charity Shield. the League Cup and the European Cup Winners.
What have most of you lot seen City win?...FUCK ALL!!!...and you still want to play on the merry go round that caused your barren spell.
It beggers belief.
