Wales v England

Thought I'd get this one going.

Line-up? Predictions? City interests? Moans about the lack Premiership now that the weather has finally picked up? Post them here.

You touch on an interesting point, I wondered if a midseason break would be beneficial to the English leagues and thought it would be a perfect time to get all those crappy international games out of the way and stop them from interfering with the club's season.

Now I hear we are going to face the run in without our best fullback and if they coincided the "international break" with the transfer window, at least there would be recourse for teams who did lose players.

There's a first time for everything I suppose.

I was listening to someone argue how it was a shame that teams had 7 or 8 games packed into shit November nights but some only play 2 in March when conditions are markedly better for football. Well for free flowing passing football anyway, if you like that sort of thing.

I still don't understand how winter breaks would fit in. I just think there are too many games to squeeze into a season to contemplate a break at the moment, especially for teams in Europe. I think there would just need to be less games. Scraping the leauge cup and reforming international qualifiers is definitely something I'm in favour of.

Good news, only Hart playing! Barry not even on bench, Milner and Lescott on bench - that will stop them from being a) tired/burnt-out, b) injured

Thanks Fabio.

But we stopped after the season was going for a week for an international break, we have stopped this weekend and I am sure they are not the only ones. I suspect should we organise it around a set break, the scheduling wouldn't be that different. Especially with League Cup games being considered midweek games now, I wonder how long till it's relegated to a reserves or youth cup, or maybe just a lower league cup.

I agree, Lampard took it, with the way they all cleared out for him to take the shot my first instinct was it was a penalty.

Now that wasn't a penalty, too close...I think it would be unfair to have a penalty taken from that close. 2-0

Scotland aren't a great side but they're miles better than these. Wales are by far the shittest side of the home nations + ROI in my opinion.

It's to be expected really though. A small country and anyone who's half decent at sport plays rugby.
