I trust your feeling.

Dzeko would be the player he was in Germany if Mancini played to his strengths - I fear he will continue to be regarded a flop whilst we carry on playing the way we do.

How many crosses have we done for him so far?..I think its 4.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

I agree we need to cross to him more, he is an excellent header of the ball ... he also does well with low crosses ...(at least according to youtube). What I also noticed a lot in those youtubes clips, which was possible because they showed quite a few goals with the build up, and both he and his strike partner, which was grafite if I recall correctly, were attacking centrally and had to be covered by cb's. This ended up with dzeko getting a lot of 1v1 looks at defenders, and even several goals where he received the ball in space beyond the last defender, who wsa out of position from covering his striker partner. This is something we definitely don't do, even when we line up with 2 up top because tevez falls VERY deep and balotelli drifts wide and moves into channels. Seems like at wolfsburg both him and grafite were taking central positions and attacking from there.

Just an observation .. .may not be totally accurate. I do think Dzeko will come good for us, he is talented and I am very impressed with how well he can strike the ball with foot and head. He will learn to adapt, and our players will adapt to him as well. It's very hard being a mid season purchase, but we should stick with him and next year it could pay dividends. He hasn't really said anything but what he's been told to so far, and his attitude has been good ... so he'll fall well under the scapegoat radar for the rest of this season I'd think ... which will be good for him and us.

It is accurate, but there's also the fact that players seem to be given a lot more space in the Bundesliga, and the wide play of the midfield opened up the opposition's defensive core, with wingbacks also driving forward on the counter.

Maybe it's best to ask someone like TomS what the defining differences are between the BL and PL playing styles. Apart from the space issue, I'd consider them to be the two most similar major leagues in Europe.
