Not really. As soon as the ref bottled sending Vidic off it was on the cards. Don't get me wrong, United have been the better side for most of the match, but as usual, they've been on the end of some favourable refereeing decisions. It seems to have happened this season more than ever.

I think it was just a bit of built up passion. Anyone remember passion?

Exactly, I actually want Chelsea to win to possibly push for the title (long shot I know) - we showed how far behind them we are a fortnight ago.

Yes we were poor 2 weeks ago, but at present we could either finish 3rd or 4th. Why would we want to Chelsea to break away from us, leaving us with only 4th to fight for? If Chelsea lose today and we win, we're 3rd again. Isn't that a better position to be in?

Yes. Then Arsenal to lose as well and we can go on and fight for second.

We need top 4, so Spurs and to a lesser degree Liverpool results are most important.

25mins to play and it's

Wigan 0-0 Spurs

West Brom 0-1 Liverpool
