Hart-7-solid and dependable as usual.
Boyatta-8-this guy will be some player in the years to come.
Kolorov-8-this is the player we bought, more of the same please Kolorov.
Kompany-8-what a player, threw himself at everything as usual.
Lesscott-8-Had gyan in his pocket all game, un droppable atm.
Silva-8-controlled the game at times.
Johnson-8-fantastic start, ran out of steam, we've missed him for sure.
Yaya-9-motm imo, so good when he's on his game.
Dejong-8-mr dependable, never shirks out a tackle.
Tevez-8-good to see him on the score sheet again, worked hard as usual.
Ballatelli-7-no moaning, actually had his head screwed on, will get better now, maybe finally learning, played well.
Viera-8-still got it, i think we should re sign him for one last season.
Mcgivewn-7-looked decent.

Mancini-9- after all the negative press, well done Mancini.

I normally think your ratings are spot on and today I agree with all your assesments so no change there.

Apart from the fact that, as a City fan you appear incapable of learning to spell 11 names correctly; you got this spot on.

The kid would have been justifiably at sixes and sevens today....dropped after dropping a major bollock in a big game and then recalled due to Mancini having no real other options he could have been shitting himself and played as safe as possible.

Instead he stepped up to the plate in a MAJOR way and, especially with the ball at his feet, looked an infinitely better player than even the one we saw in the CC against United last year.

It was a class performance. I was massively impressed. Hats off Mr Boyata

Just like it's not right to go OTT when we lose ( as expected) against Chelsea it's also not right to go OTT when we win ( as expected) aginst Sunderland. Not that we didn't play well( even though Sunderland were pretty dire) but to earn 8 and 9's out of 10 it needs a bit more for me.
Boyata did really well for a center half playing full back but he is a fill in there.Good to get a game in and in a success but he was far from special. 7/10 at most.Tevez 7 at most for me as well.No complaints about him but nothing like his best yet but let's hope the goal and the big win will boost him for the rest of the season.

Strange that ,given we won 5 nil,I saw our strongest performances down the middle in Vinnie/Lescott and Nigel. 8's for them about right and I could even stretch to a 9 for Vinnie and Nigel.Lescott again though doing nothing wrong and closing doors very very well.

Yaya is a fascinating player. When he does something special he gets loads of praise and maybe rightly so but when the special things don't happen it seems he is lazy, unfit and rubbish( what does he do again lol) He is avery talented player and for me is better in a role like today where he doesnt just sit and he doesnt play very high up the field.I feel he links play superbly and when he makes runs from deep can be exceptoinal as with that first goal.AJ is not fully fit yet but shows the quality he has not just wide but as a real goal threat when he makes the runs across the pitch.

I agree good to see Mario basically just get on with it.Actually didn't do that much although he might have got a goal a couple of times but it's a start.I wouldnt actually rate Vieira/McGivern as we were 3 or 4 up but they did ok as did SWP.Felt a bit sorry for Wabara being passed up for McGivern and then Ryan gets on for a few minutes on the wrong side as he is very very left footed.Didnt matter by then but I wonder why he got the nod?

Johnson(10):We look a completely different side with him in it.

Mancini(10):Had the balls to play a 2 man central midfield and was duly rewarded.

McGivern(6):AWESOME, just pure awesome to see a kid given a run out, something we haven't had the luxury of doing for a LONG LONG LONG LONG time.
