big screen replays at the CoMS

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

big screen replays at the CoMS

Is it some sort of FA directive that means we aren't allowed to show any sort of contentious decisions at the game? Pretty exasperating as it's those incidents you'd want to see more than any others (bar goals of course). Didn't even show the penalty decision yesterday.

A lot of the replays were debatable on the penalty, then the reverse replay showed it very clearly.

Yea we are not allowed to show contentious decision as it undermines the ref

How annoying. I'm pretty sure it's bad decision making, that undermines the ref!

They do show replays on the tvs on the concourse, though, don't they?

I was amazed they showed Paddy's goal yesterday to be honest, although it was clear cut on a couple of the angles, it certainly wasn't on the ones shown on the big screen. The Sunderland fans were already getting themselves worked up about Webb, thought that might have tipped them over the edge.

Yeah, was surprised about that, and the penalty. Normally they wouldnt show that - must have been a new director yesterday as those replays were completely against FA directives.

I said exactly the same to my lad, we were surprised to say the least!

Arsenal showed an offside that was onside and dogs abuse was on the menu for the remaining 45 mins for both the ref and liner.
