A Manchester City youngster who is so albinoesque that his head seemed to disappear altogether when framed by white background on the digital hoardings at Eastlands at the weekend

don't think he will make it with us but nice for him to get a run out when the match was won
has an awful haircut and don't think he was too great on loan at leicster last season remember watching one game on tv and he scored a ridiculous own goal all that said though he was steady enough on sunday

I always thought he was a left back, yet he came on for Boyata at the weekend?

Played at left back on loan at leicester recently - played as a cb in preseason last season for us. Decent in the air at cb from memory.

Our defender situation is so dire Bobby wanted to make sure both him and Boyata had game time. Ideal game against a shite side. Hope we dont have him marking Nani or Valencia though in 11 days.

The big surprise is that Mcgivern was in the squad and not Wabara. Wabara is a centre half who can play right full back whereas McGivern is a left full back who can play centre half. I get the feeling all week that Wabara was expecting to be in the squad partly as he had been training with the first team squad and partly because he is right sided.

Then on the final day of training last week McGivern joined in and seemed to get some preference because he was involved in the last session but Wabara was asked to sit it out.Wabara's tweets suggested he was guutted and surprised.

McGivern imo will never make it at a good premiership level but I wouldnt be so sure about Wabara. He is smaller than McGivern but I think reads the game a bit better and better on the ball.

Sent off on his debut, which was about 2 years ago! I'd forgot he was still on our books.

Will never make it. Not as drastic a fall as Sam Williamson but he'll end up league 1 or 2

Edit: I meant his debut for NI

Flipping heck, he plays ten minutes for us and people are already saying he won't make it. Why not give him a chance? I have no idea how good he will be, he may well turn out to be a good player.

mate - people are giving their opinions as requested but i'm sure we'd all be more than pleased if he turns out to be world player of the year in a bit.

Maybe so but its not as if we need to get rid of him. Who knows, he may come good.

Absolutely- I can't say I know much either way, but those who gave their opinion on him are seldom wrong in that regard, so we'll see I suppose!

He's been frustrated due to lack of chances, and has asked to move on a couple of times, but City have persuaded him to stay so maybe We see a future here for him.

And before anyone asks how I came by this information, it was a taxi driver, and he was so ITK he proudly showed us a text message from the player! Cast iron, I'm sure you'll agree.

Tbh I believed him, it has to be said!
