1. I still don't see how it's racist. Another example, United's song about Park. I don't see the line 'You eat dogs in your home country' as racist, but to refer to South Koreans as 'dog eaters' would be.

2. My point is that these 'monkey chants' are not monkey chants at all, the media just impose British values on another country's culture and customs. Which I find to be more racist than the chanting in the first place, as there is no racist intent to it, but assuming all white Europeans have identical values to British people is massively culturally insensitive.

Whether it was coined for Indians or Africans is by the by and no doubt to irrelevant to 'the racist', as 'dey is jus foreign an funny coloured innit'. Whether the person who thought the song up is privy to this historical reference, or was just trying to find a harshly creative way to indulgle in a bit of ott comedy hate, I dunno. Dub, apologies if I was a little OTT in my condemnation of what you said. It wasn't intended as an attack on you, it reads like that, but it was more a defence of the site. I took exception to the fact that you suggested we have an issue with racism on the site as I don't believe we do.

I've been on the site for four years and have never seen you referred to as a 'bomber' and when I have see you referred to as a 'pikey' it has always been in jest, tongue in cheek. Anyway, if you feel that we do have an issue on the site then that is sad and who am I to question you?

As I have said to you in my PM, you're a top man and I have no wish have a slanging match with you. You're a good guy and a top contributor on here.
