He hadn't yet played a game in La Liga during the World Cuo, so was essentially still a Bundesliga player. After the Prem, that's probably the fastest paced major European league.

I think Robben has been recorded as the third fastest aswell so what you say about the Bundesliga probably raises something to think about.I agree with people that the prem is probably for longer periods of the game a faster league.But I think in burst's place like La Liga and the other leagues are just as fast but not as sustained as the EPL.
From the match of Real and Spuds the other night Ramos come up against Bale for bits of the match.Bale is regarded as a fast player.Ramos was able to keep up with him.
