MANCINI OUT

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

Can I be honest and say I don't want Mancini sacked yet, not before the semi anyway. Also, Mancini's interview, for me, wasn't about Mancini making a mistake in selecting the team, more of selecting certain players, therefore laying some of the blame at their door. And these things I don't like.

Maybe we'll see an Italian gone from the league pretty soon, but I don't think it'll be Mancini.

Totally agree, some of the comments in this thread are pathetic to say the least.
Who do we get if we sack him?
Mourinho, Mourinho the headless ones will say.
That is by no means certain, so no Mourinho, then who?
I'd go for Guss Hiddink all day.
But even he might not want it?
Then who?

thats not what i asked mate.

I would go if I wasnt away with the family, but Mancinis approach to these games is fucking dumb. he tried to save players tonight and got dicked 3-0 and lost our best player to injury. how do you think he'll approach sat. I cant see past another almost moment. (god i hope im wrong).

Since Sunday, Van Gaal is free too, but i don't know he is a Premier type. He is a weird one, full of scandals with the dressing room. A Mancini type.

With 6 games left we actually have fewer points (56) than we had in the 32 corresponding fixtures last season (57).

There are only three more opportunities to improve on last season's results, Everton (A), Tottenham (H), Bolton (A).

Grim reading.

It's too close to the end of the season to change now, but I would be lining up options to replace him the day the season ends. Let the new guy have the whole summer.

O'Neill is the man for me

The banging sound you can hear is my head repeatedly hitting the table. O'Neill is as one dimentional as Mancini. He will only be good at getting average teams to overperform.
