Yer man's mam was from Cheadle.

Villas-Boas' paternal grandmother, deceased in 2007, was English (with the exception of a Portuguese great-great-grandmother), though born in Porto, Lordelo do Ouro, whose father's family was already established in Portugal, and whose mother moved from her native Cheadle, Metropolitan Borough of Stockport, to Guimarães in the early 1900s. As a result, Villas-Boas speaks 'flawless English'.[3] He has been married since 2004 to Joana Teixeira, and has two daughters.[11]

yeah he would be on my shortlist only 33 aswell so long term, says bobby robson was his hero and used to be mourinhos assistant. He would be on the list alongside Mourinho(obv 1st), hiddink, van gaal, id take harry redknapp aswell bt no one else really from england...
derby day the scores were level,

Add the Tealady and Moonchester to that list.

We need the Tealady to cover at rightback. Mind you she's female, she can multitask.

I've said it a fair few times and I'm a bit puzzled why nobody else supports the idea of Frank Reikjard being offered the job.

He was responsible for building the current style of play Barcelona utilise, has played and managed at the highest level and will satisfy my (and your) desire to see flowing, entertaining football.

So, why not?

Van Gaal-Out of work.
Mourinho-Not much chance until he wins the Spanish league.

Van Gaal couldn't even manage Bayern... he is too old for modern football.

Bacon isnt too old it seems despite being ten years older,Wenger is older than Van Gaal.
Plus he looked like this in his younger days.

But why would you want someone to manage City when that person cannot even qualify for the Champions League with Bayern Munich....

Think Mourinho style just a tad more attacking.

He's blitzed the Portuguese league this season. Likely will win Europa too.

He is THE up and coming coach in world football. Worth a punt for sure.

Did he not win the league and get them into the Champions league final less than 12 months ago? And did he not leave Bayern 1 point away from CL qualification?

Really?
Please do elaborate.

Either way, he's a cunt with a good record for man management, producing attractive winning football ....... and he's available.

Your argument appears to be that VG cannot qualify for the champions league with Bayern because he is too old. Any argument about Mancini would not be down to his age though.
