The atmosphere was good in parts especially towards the latter stages of the game, good atmosphere in the Arkles before the game as well until the old bill turned up heavy handed and started chucking a load of our lot out of the pub.

Im used to hearing the noise on the tv from our away fans and my dad is in cyprus at the moment and he said we were really loud on tv but I thought we were worse than at eastlands until late on with the typical city ''were gonna win 4-3''. Liverpool were absolutely shite all game and didnt hear the Kop make a PEEP until they were 3-90. Over £50 and not getting back till late and alot of people couldnt be arsed to sing!

Hope we get wembley rocking. We were utter dire last night, mancini fucked up and as soon we chose mario over silva I knew that we would be saying ''WHERES THE MIDFIELD'' all game. What was he thinking?! Please god get tevez fit for sat.

I just feel like the last twenty minutes was when it counted most going into a huge game at the weekend (obviously you want support throughout but extra backing wouldn't have solved the tactical issues that saw us overrun in the first half).

lets all have a disco wrote:Sounded loud,i'm sure the players heard the fans singing so why didnt it inspire them on?
I guess that puts to bed the myth fans inspire players its the other way round.

When a player puts in a good tackle the fans go wild, when i player scores a goal the fans go wild.

Dunno mate I was getting a bit pissed of that I'd spent £70 trekking up there and had to be silent for large portions. Im sure they heard a few of our songs, hopefully dzeko heard the new song for him as we could end up killing him as a playter. But the liverpool fans were TERRIBLE so you are always going to hear away support because home support is DIRE these days, football just isnt the same. Im only bloody 22 so I've never even experience much atmosphere !

Showtec should learn from anfield security / stewards, I agree with the Bluemoon topic that there were a laugh and not jobsworth pricks. The Dibble were OTT though and we couldnt get in the Arkles before the match as they said blues had been ''mouthing off''. I also saw them refuse to let in a few blues but luckily they just gave it 10mins and got in.

Bring on Wembley though! Totally different ball game, hope its good weather. Hopefully tier 3 row 24 isnt too steep !

for me we were not as loud as we normally are - but of course we were still very good

mind you I liked the "...your're winning 3 nil and you still can't sing..." made me laugh
